Select the “Maintain Quick Codes” link under the “Quality Audit” business component.
The "Maintain Quick Codes" page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
To create quick codes
Enter the following in the “Quick Code Details” multiline.
Quick Code |
The identification number of the quick code. Mandatory |
Description |
The name / description of the quick code. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the quick code. Select § “Active”, to make the field mandatory. § “No”, to make the field non-mandatory. |
Default? |
Use the drop-down list box to set the default status of the quick code. Select § “Yes”, to allow the system to default a specified value in the quick code associated field. § “No”, for the contrary. |
Note: You cannot set the Default of a quick code to “Yes”, if its Status is “Inactive”.
Specify the following.
Mandatory? |
Use the drop-down list box to make the field mandatory or non-mandatory. Select § “Yes”, to make the field mandatory in all the pages of the component. § “No”, to make the field non-mandatory in all the pages of the component. |
Select the “Maintain Quick Codes” pushbutton to save the specified details.
The system displays the following record information.
Created by |
The identification number and name of the employee who created the record. |
Created Date |
The date when the record was created. |
To modify quick codes
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to find the quick codes that you want to change.
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the quick code type under which you want to create / modify / delete a quick code. The system displays the following values: Audit Class, Audit Category, User Status, Root Cause Category, Severity, NC User Status, Recommendation Category, NC Category, Human Factor, Causal Category, Observation Type, Checklist Type, Checklist Category, Question Type, Question Category and, Audit Rating. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status. The system displays the following values: Active' and Inactive. |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton
The “Quick Code Details” multiline displays the following details for the records that match the specified criteria.
You can modify the following fields: Description, Status and, Default.
You can also reset the “Mandatory” field.
Select the “Maintain Quick Codes” pushbutton to save the modified details.
The system updates the following fields.
Last Modified by |
The identification number and name of the login user. |
Last Modified Date |
The system date when the record was changed. |
