This page allows you to view the details of the selected purchase request. Tell me more.

The “View Purchase Request” page appears.

The system displays the following.

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this screen. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the Enterprise Modeling business component by default.

 

The system displays the following in the “PR Document Information” group box:

 

Purchase Request #

The number identifying the purchase request.

Status

The status of the purchase request.

PR Type

The type of the purchase request, which could be “Owned”, “PBH”  “Others” or "Service".

PR Priority

The priority of the purchase request, which could be “AOG”, “Critical”, “Normal” or “Expedite”.

PR Date

The date on which the purchase request was raised.

PR Category

The category of the purchase request.

Expense Type

The PR expense type which could be “Revenue” or “Capital”.

User Status

The user defined status assigned to the purchase request.

Part Type

The type of the part.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft.

Ordering Location

The organizational unit to which you need to forward the purchase request.

PR Value

The value of the purchase request.

Destination

The organizational unit, in which the purchased parts must be stored.

Expense To

The financial book postings available for the company requesting the purchase

Buyer Group

A unique code that identifies the buyer group to which the buyer is associated

Remarks

The remarks or comments pertaining to the purchase request.

The system displays the following in the “Purchase for & Expense Details” group box:

Purchase for

The MRO or the Customer for whom the purchase request is required.

Pur. for Trading Partner #

The code of the trading partner for whom the purchase request is required.

Trading Partner Name

The name of  the  trading partner defined in the Customer Master business component.

PO & Inv. Org.

The Organizational unit of the trading partner. The system displays the finance book for which the procurement happens, adjacent to this field.

Expense to

The financial book available for the company requesting the purchase which is mapped to the login organizational unit as defined in the “Account Group” business component.

The system displays the following in the “Requirement Details” multiline:

Note: The system displays or hides the Mfr. Part # and Mfr. # based on the options set in “Set Inventory Process Parameter” activity in the “Logistics Common Master” business component.

Line #

The number identifying the row in the multiline in which the part is entered.

Part #

 The number identifying the part for which the purchase request is raised.

Mfr. Part #

The number provided by the manufacturer of the part.

Mfr. #

The code identifying the manufacturer of the part.

Part Description

A textual description pertaining to the part. The system retrieves the part description based on the purchase request type:

  • If “PR Type” is “Service”, the part description is retrieved from the “Service Master” business component.

  • If “PR Type” is other than “Service”, the part description is retrieved from the “Part Administration” business component.

Condition

The condition of the part, which could be one of the following:

 

 
  • New – Indicates that the part is new or purchased recently.

 

  • Overhauled – Indicates that some maintenance action or servicing has been done on the part, and the part has not been used after servicing

 
  • Serviceable – Indicates that the part is been used after servicing

Requested Qty

The total quantity of the parts requested to be purchased.

Order Qty.

The total quantity of the parts ordered to be purchased.

Short Closed Qty

The short closed quantity of the part.

Purchase UOM

The units of measurement in which the part is purchased.

CAPEX Proposal #

A unique number identifying the capital expense proposal.

Cost

The cost of the parts to be purchased.

Cost Per

The number of parts for which the cost is specified.

Cost Basis

The basis on which the cost of the part is calculated.

Delivery Type

Indicates whether the material must be delivered in single or multiple shipments. You can view the schedule information defined for the part, in the “View Schedule Information” page, if the delivery type is “Multiple”.

Need Date

The date by which the part must be delivered

Warehouse #  

The number identifying the warehouse, in which the purchased parts must be stored.

Purchase Reason

The reason for the purchase request.

Aircraft Reg #

The number identifying the aircraft for which the part is being procured.

A/C Model #

The number identifying the Aircraft model.

Contract Type

The type of contract based on which the part must be procured.

Contract #

The number identifying the contract based on which the part must be procured.

Accounting Usage

The type of the accounting usage to be used

Costing Usage

The type of the costing usage to be used

Analysis Code

The code helps in further analysis of expense incurred against the particular account

Sub Analysis Code

The code helps in further detailed analysis of expense incurred against the particular account and analysis code.

Work Center #

The number identifying the work center for which the purchase request is raised.

Preferred Supplier

The preferred supplier from whom the material or the part must be procured.

Alternate Type

The type of part that can be used, if the requested part is not available.

Alternate Part #

The part number that can be used, if the requested part is not available.

Remarks

Any remarks or comments pertaining to the parts to be purchased.

Ref Document Type

The unique code that identifies the reference document type. Reference documents are basically manuals provided by the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). These manuals or documents are used by other business components for maintenance procedures.

Ref Document #

The reference document number based on which the purchase request is raised.

  • Click the hyperlinked reference document number, to view the reference document details.

Task #

A unique number identifying the task for which the purchase request is raised for the part or service.

The system retrieves the “Task #” from the Reference Document, if the Reference Document Type is either “Hangar Work Order” or “Component Work Order”.

Task Seq. #

The sequence in which the tasks should be performed in the reference document.

The system retrieves the “Task Seq. #” from the Reference Document, if the Reference Document Type is either “Hangar Work Order” or “Component Work Order”

MR Line #

The line number in the material request in which the part is available.

Quality Attribute

The parameter for the qualitative inspection of the part, which could be  “Standard”, “Customized” or “None”.

Short Close Comments

Any additional remarks pertaining to the short close of the purchase request.

The system displays the following in the “Other Information” group box:

Reason for Cancellation

The reason for cancellation of the PR document

Reason for Return

The notes information containing the reason for return of the PR document.

The system updates the following in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Created by

The login ID of the user who created the purchase request.

Created Date

The date on which the purchase request was created.

Last Modified by

The login ID of the user who modified the PR last.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the PR was last modified.

Approved by

The login ID of the user who last authorized the purchase request.

Approved Date

View Purchase Request - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to view the details of the selected purchase request. Details such as the date on which the PR was raised, need date of the item, the organization unit in which the PR is raised and the destination location where the item is stored, can be viewed in this page. This page also allows you to view the part details such as the part number, part description and requested quantity of the part.
