The "Select Occurrence Report" page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Occurrence Report #

The number identifying the occurrence report to be approved (Alphanumeric, 40).

To search for an occurrence report

Occurrence Report #

The number identifying the occurrence report to be approved (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the occurrence report number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports having the number specified here.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the occurrence report document. The system lists the options “Confirmed” and “Approved”. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports with the status selected here. The system leaves the field  blank by default.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the user-defined status of the occurrence report to be approved. The system lists all the quick codes of type "User Status" defined in "Create Flight Log / Occurrence Reports Attributes" activity of "Common Master" business component. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports with the user status selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports irrespective of the user status.

Occurrence Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of occurrence. The system lists the following options:

  • “Aircraft Related-Maint” – Select this option if the occurrence report created is for aircraft related maintenance.

  • “Aircraft Related-Non Maint” – Select this option if the occurrence report is created for non-maintenance activity related to the aircraft.

  • “Personnel Related” – Select this option if the occurrence report pertains to any personnel.

  • “Spill” – Select this option if the occurrence report is created for events such as spillage of oil etc.

  • “Tool / Equipment”- Select this option if the occurrence report is created for any tool or equipment related incidents.

  • “Vehicle Related” – Select this option if the occurrence report is created for any vehicle related incidents.

  • “Scheduled Maintenance” – Select this option if the occurrence report is created for scheduled field maintenance during normal revenue flight time.

  • “Unscheduled Maintenance” - Select this option if the occurrence report is created when the aircraft is grounded for unscheduled maintenance.

The system retrieves all the occurrence reports for the occurrence type selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports irrespective of the occurrence type.

Date of Occurrence

The date of occurrence (Date Format).

Business Unit

Use the drop-down list box to specify the operations business unit where the event occurred. The system lists all the quick codes of type "Business Unit" defined in "Create Flight Log / Occurrence Reports Attributes" activity of "Common Master" business component. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports associated to the business unit selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports irrespective of the business unit.

Customer Call Sign

The code associated with every customer job (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the customer call sign in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports that are associated to the value entered here.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the aircraft registration number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports that are associated to the aircraft with the registration number specified here.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the aircraft model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports that are associated to the aircraft belonging to this model.

AOG?

Use the drop-down list box and select the “Yes” option if the aircraft is grounded for aircraft related activities and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance. Else, select “No”. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports with the AOG priority selected here. The system displays this field blank by default.

Discrepancy #

The number identifying the discrepancy associated with the occurrence (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the discrepancy number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports that are associated to the value entered here.

Occurrence Occurred During

Use the drop-down list box to specify the activity during which the event occurred. The system lists the options “Pilot Activity”, “AMT Activity” and “Others”. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports associated to the activity selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports irrespective of the activity selected here.

Phase of Operations

Use the drop-down list box to specify the phase of aircraft during which the event occurred. The system lists all the possible phases of the aircraft depending on the value selected in the “Occurrence Occurred During” field.

If “Pilot Activity” option is selected in the "Occurrence Occurred During" field, the system lists the options "Pre-Flight", "Pax Loading", "Baggage Loading", "Start", "Before T/O", "Hovering", "During T/O", "Climb", "Cruise", "Descent", "Go Around", "Landing - Normal", "Landing - Precaut"., "Landing - Autorot"., "Landing - OEI", "After Landing", "Shut Down", "Post Flight", "Tied Down", "IFR", "Sling", "Ground Run", "Ops Chk-flt", "Ground Handling", "Routine Maint.", "Parts Handling", "Fueling", "Driving" and "Others".

If "AMT Activity" or "Others" is selected in the "Occurrence Occurred During" field, the system lists the options "Pre-Flight", "Start", "Shut Down", "Post Flight", "Tied Down", "Ground Run", "Ground Handling", "Routine Maint.", "Parts Handling", "Fueling", "Driving" and "Others".

The system retrieves all the occurrence reports associated to the aircraft operation phase selected here.

The system leaves this field blank by default, if the “Occurrence Occurred During” field is left blank.

Reported by

The code identifying the employee who reported the occurrence (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the employee code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports that are reported by the employee specified here.

Reporting Exe. Unit

Use the drop-down list box to specify the reporting execution unit. The system lists all the organization units applicable for the “Occurrence Reporting” business component. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports associated to the reporting execution unit selected here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the occurrence reports irrespective of the reporting execution unit.

Reporting Station

The station at which the occurrence is reported for approval (Alphanumeric, 32). You can enter the reporting station in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports that are reported at the station specified here.

Base/Work Center

The base or the work center at which the maintenance activity of the aircraft for which the occurrence is reported, is performed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the base/work center in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the occurrence reports that are associated to the value entered here.

Note: The system retrieves only those occurrence reports that are in “Confirmed” or “Approved” status.

Occurrence Report #

The number identifying the occurrence report generated for every occurrence recorded by the pilot or mechanic.

Status

The status of the occurrence report document, which could be “Confirmed” or “Approved”.

Aircraft Reg #

The registration number of the aircraft.

User Status

The user-defined status for tracking the occurrences.

Occurrence Type

The type of occurrence, which could be “Aircraft Related-Maint”, “Aircraft Related–Non Maint”,  "Personnel Related”, “Spill”, “Tool / Equipment”, “Vehicle Related”, “Scheduled Maintenance” or “Unscheduled Maintenance”.

Date of Occurrence

The date of occurrence.

Business Unit

The operations business unit where the event occurred.

Customer Call Sign

The customer associated with every customer job.

AOG?

Indicates whether the aircraft is grounded for “Scheduled Maintenance” or “Unscheduled Maintenance”.

Aircraft Model #

The model number of the aircraft.

Discrepancy #

The number identifying the discrepancy associated with the occurrence.

Reported By

The code identifying the employee who reported the occurrence.

Occurrence Occurred During

Indicates whether the event occurred during “Pilot Activity”, “AMT Activity” or “Others”.

Phase of Operations

The phase of aircraft during which the event occurred.

Reporting Exe. Unit

The execution unit in which the occurrence had been reported.

Reporting Station

The station at which the occurrence is reported.

Base/Work Center

Approve occurrrence report - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to select the occurrence report for approval. If you know the exact occurrence report number to be approved, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can search for the occurrence report details by providing filter criteria such as the occurrence report number, user status, occurrence type, date of occurrence, business unit, customer call sign, aircraft registration number, aircraft model number, discrepancy number, occurrence occurred during, phase of operations, reported by and the reporting execution unit. The search results are retrieved and displayed in the multiline.
