Managing Additional information

This page is used to define/view some additional information of the part.
Select the “Manage Additional Information” link at the bottom of the "Maintain Planning Information" screen.
The “Manage Additional Information" page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Information” section.
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which the additional information is managed . |
Part Description |
The description of the part. |
Enter the following fields in the "Search Criteria"section:
Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the part that is to be retrieved. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes defined under the Quick Code Type “Additional Info Category” in the “Create Quick Code” activity along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Attribute |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the attribute of the part that is to be retrieved. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes defined under the Quick Code Type “Additional Info Attributes” in the “Create Quick Code” activity along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Enter the following field in the "Search Result" multiline:
Category |

Attribute |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the attribute of the part. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes defined under the Quick Code Type “Additional Info Attributes” in the “Create Quick Code” activity along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
The system displays the following field.
Attribute Description |
The description of the attribute. |
Enter the following fields:
Value |
The value of the part for the Category and Attribute combination. Mandatory. |
Remarks |
Any remarks pertaining to the additional information of the part. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the entered additional information of the part.
