Viewing the open transactions for the part
The part type / part control type can be converted, only if there are no open transactions pertaining to the part.
This page enables you to view the details of all the open transactions pertaining to the part for which the part type or part control type is converted. Tell me more.
Select the “View Open Transactions” link in the “View Part Type / Part Control Type” page or “Create Part Type / Part Control Type” page or “Edit Part Type / Part Control Type” page.
The “View Transactions” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Conversion Details” group box:
Conversion # |
The number identifying the part type / part control type conversion document. |
Status |
The status of the part type / part control type conversion document, which could be “Draft”, or “Fresh”. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Part Information” group box:
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which open transactions exist. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Manufacturer Part # |
The number given by the manufacturer of the part. |
Part Category |
The category to which the part belongs. |
Part Type |
The type of the part, which could be “Component” or “Expendable”. |
Part Control Type |
The control type of the part. |
Click the “Get Transaction Details” pushbutton, if you wish to view all the open transactions currently existing for the part.
The system displays the following fields in the “Inventory Transactions” group box:
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse pertaining to the inventory transaction. |
Date |
The date on which the inventory transaction was created. |
Document # |
The number identifying the inventory transaction document. |
Document Type |
The type of the inventory transaction document. |
Document Status |
The status of the inventory transaction document. |
Quantity |
The inventory transaction quantity. |
Txn UOM |
The unit of measurement in which the inventory transaction has taken place. |
Note: If the document type is “Cycle Count”, the quantity of the parts available in the warehouse is displayed in the “Quantity” field, and the stock UOM defined for the part is displayed in the “Txn UOM” field. |

Ref Document # |
The number identifying the reference document based on which the inventory transaction has taken place. |
Ref. Document Status |
The status of the reference document based on which the inventory transaction has taken place. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee who has created the inventory transaction. |
Employee # |
The code identifying the employee who has created the inventory transaction. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Configuration Details” group box:
Aircraft Model # |
The code identifying the aircraft model, to which the part is mapped. |
Configuration Class |
The configuration class associated with the aircraft model to which the part is mapped. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft to which the part is mapped. |
NHA Part # |
The part number in the next higher assembly to which the part is mapped. |
NHA Component # |
The component number in the next higher assembly to which the part is mapped. |
Level Code |
The code identifying the level at which the part is mapped, in the configuration hierarchy. |
Position Code |
The position code to which the part is mapped. |
Position Code Status |
The status of the position code. |

The configuration rules describing the mapping of the part to the position code. The system lists one of the following:

The system displays the following fields in the “Maintenance Transactions” group box:
Date |
The date on which the maintenance transaction was created. |
Document # |
The number identifying the maintenance transaction document. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the maintenance transaction document. |
Document Type |
The type of the maintenance transaction document. |
Note: For component replacement transactions with object type “Others”, the document type is displayed as “CR-Object Type Others”, and the CR reference document details are displayed in the “Document #”, “Revision #”, “Document Status” fields. |

The status of the maintenance transaction document. |
Quantity |
The maintenance transaction quantity. |
Txn UOM |
The unit of measurement in which the maintenance transaction has taken place. |
Employee Name |
The name of the employee who has created the maintenance transaction. |

The code identifying the employee who has created the maintenance transaction. |
The system displays the following in the “Other Details” group box:
Part Mapped to Planner Group |
The system displays “Yes” if the part is mapped to an active planner group. Else, the field appears blank. |
Component Jobs in Pending Tray |
The system displays "Yes", if the work unit that is intended to be performed on the part, is in the Central Planning pending tray. Else, the field appears blank. |
Prime Part Mapping |
The system displays “Yes”, if the part is defined as a prime part, or mapped to a prime part. Else, the field appears blank. |
MEL Item |
The system displays “Yes” if the part is defined as a MEL Item/Position-based MEL item in the "Configuration" business component . Else, the field appears blank. |
Viewing the open transactions for the part – An overview
The details of all the open transactions existing for the part, for which the part type or the part control type is converted, can be viewed in this page.
This page displays the details of the following:
Inventory transactions such as material request, stock issue, stock transfer receipt, stock return, stock transfer issue, stock transfer, stock status conversion, stock correction, unplanned receipt, loan order, rental order, loan/rental receipt, repair order, purchase order, blanket purchase order, release slip, goods receipt, subcontract order, return slip, Physical inventory plans and cycle count sheets, that are open for the part.
Maintenance transactions such as visit packages, technical logs, forecasted work units, hangar work orders, discrepancies and maintenance reports, work scopes, component work orders, component warranty claims, engineering orders and maintenance change requests, that are open for the part.
Position codes to which the part is associated.
The system also indicates whether the part is,
Defined as a MEL Item/Position based MEL Item,
Associated with active planner groups
Defined as a prime part, or whether it is mapped to a prime part.
The system will also indicate whether the work unit that is intended to be performed on the part, is available in the Central Planning pending tray.
