In this page you can select a service for viewing its details. Tell me more.
Select the “View Service Main Information” link under the “Part Administration” business component.
The “Select Service #” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you are aware of the service number, for which you wish to view the details.

Service # |
The unique code identifying the service to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Select the “View Service Part Information” link provided alongside to view the details of the service entered.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the service number, for which you wish to view the details. Data entry in the following fields is optional.

Service # |
The unique code identifying the service to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the service numbers that are similar to the value entered here. |

Reference Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the reference status of the service to be viewed. The system provides the options “Under Creation” and “Active”. |

Service Description |
The description of the service (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the services that have description similar to the value entered here. |

Key Word |
The key word of the service (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the key word in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system displays all the services that have key words similar to the value entered here. |

Service Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the service, which could be “Regular”, “Conversion” or “Activity”. The system displays the services of type selected here. Leave the field blank to retrieve the service irrespective of the service type. |

Service Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the service to be viewed. The system lists the service categories defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity that are in the “Active” status. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves the following in the “Search Results” multiline, based on the search criteria entered.

The key word used to easily identify the service. |

Service Type |
The type of the service. |

Service Category |
The category to which the service belongs. |

Click the hyperlinked service number in the multiline, to view the service details.
Selecting service for viewing – An overview
This page allows you to search and select a service number to view its details. If you know the service number, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the service number, reference status, the description of the service, the key word identifying the service, the type of the service and the category of the service. The system retrieves all the service numbers, which are in the “Under Creation”, or “Active” status, based on the search criteria entered.
