Purchase Order #

A unique number identifying the purchase order.

Amendment #

Use the drop down list box to select the amendment # for the PO # entered.

The system displays the latest amendment #, by default.

The system displays the following field:

Status

The status of the purchase order.

The system displays the following in the “PO Details” group box:

PO Date

The date on which the purchase order is modified.

PO Type

The type of the purchase order, which could be one of the following:

General – The purchase order, which can have any stockable items.

Express – The purchase order raised in the case of urgent situations. For example, PO created against a supplier, for a part that is not mapped to that supplier.

Priority

The priority of the purchase order.

Buyer Group

The buyer group with which the purchase order is associated.

Category

The category under which the purchase order is grouped.

User Status

The user-defined status of the purchase order.

Supplier #

The code that identifies the supplier.

Supplier Name

The name of the supplier.

Purchase for Info.

The concatenation of the trading partner and the trading partner #.

Line # / PO Part #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line # / part # of the purchase order.

Note: If multiple line # / part #s are available then the value “All lines #” will also be loaded along with the other values. The system displays the value “All lines #”, by default.

Line # / PO Part #

Use the drop-down list box to select the line # / part # of the purchase order. Mandatory.

Note: The system displays the blank value by default, if no spares information is saved before against PO #.

The system displays the following:

PO Part Desc.

The description of the part.

Order Qty.

The quantity of the part mentioned in the purchase order.

UOM

The unit of measurement of the part mentioned in the purchase order.

Spare Part #

The number identifying the spare part of the line # / PO part #. Mandatory.

The system displays the following:

Spare Part Desc.

The description of the spare part.

Qty.

The quantity of the spare parts. Mandatory.

The system displays the following:

UOM

The unit of measurement of the spare part.

Stock Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the internally owned stock status.

Note: The system displays the blank value by default, if no spares information is saved before against PO #.

Pref. Serial #

The serial # of the spare part.

Help facility available.

Pref. Lot #

The lot # of the spare part.

Help facility available.

Issue WH #

The warehouse number from which the spare parts are issued. Mandatory.

The system displays the following:

Available Qty.

The quantity of the spare parts available in the warehouse.

Issue Basis

Use the drop-down list box to specify the issue basis value for the spare part #. Mandatory. The system lists the values “Blank”, “Returnable” and “Non-Returnable”. The system displays the value “Blank”, by default.

Return WH #

The warehouse # where the returnable spare parts are to be returned.

Help facility available.

The system displays the following fields:

Issued Qty.

The quantity of the spare parts that are issued to the vendor.

Received Qty.

The quantity of the spare parts that are received.

Released for Shipping?

Indicates whether the spare parts are released for shipping to the vendor.

Created By

The name of the user who created the purchase order.

Created Date

The date on which the purchase order was created.

Last Modified by

The name of the user who last modified the purchase order.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the purchase order was last modified.

Note: Post PO authorization, spares can be added and released for shipping directly.

  • Select the “View Product Structure” link to view all the product structures of the parent part along with the constituents of each product structure.

  • Select the “Create Spares Issue” link to create an issue document for issuing the parts.

  • Select the “Edit Spares Issue” link to edit the issue document.

  • Select the “Confirm Spares Issue” link to confirm the issue document.

  • Select the “View Spares Issue” link to view the issue document.
