Managing Warranty Parameter Value

This page enables to record the parameter details for the warranty based on the option selected in the "Manage Parts under MRO Warranty" page.
Select the hyperlinked “parameter code” in the “Warranty Details” multiline to manage the Warranty Parameter value.
The “Manage Warranty Parameter Value” page appears.
The system displays the following fields:
Part # |
The number identifying the Part for which parameter based warranty is provided. |
Serial # |
The serial number of the part for which parameter based warranty is provided. |
Mfr. Serial # |
The Mfr. Serial number issued by the manufacturer for the Part-Serial # combination. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Parameter |
The code specifying the parameter on the basis of which warranty is provided for the Part-Serial #. Mandatory. |
The system displays the following fields:
Parameter Description |
The textual description of the parameter. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the parameter. |
Enter the following field:
Warranty Value |
The maximum amount that the warranty permits. Mandatory. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to record the Warranty Parameter value details.
Note: Ensure that the Parameter code entered is a valid parameter of type 'Consumption'
The status of the parameter codes selected should be 'Active' in the interacting Aircraft business component.
Ensure that the Parameter entered is mapped to the Part # selected in the Aircraft business component.
