Selecting sub fleet for modification
This page allows you to select the sub fleet for modification. Tell me more.
Select the "Edit Sub Fleet" link under the "Aircraft Maintenance Forecast" business component.
The “Select Sub Fleet” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" setting defined by the login user. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the sub fleet number for which the details must be modified:
Sub Fleet # |
The number identifying the sub fleet that you wish to modify (Alphanumeric, 20). |
Select the “Edit Sub Fleet” link provided alongside to modify the details of the sub fleet.
To search for a sub fleet
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a sub fleet. Data entry in the following fields is optional:
Sub Fleet # |
The number identifying the sub fleet that you need to modify (Alphanumeric, 20) You can enter the sub fleet number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the sub fleet similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the sub fleet. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the sub fleet to be modified. The system displays the options “Active” and “Inactive”. By default, the system leaves the field blank. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the sub fleet irrespective of the status. |
Sub Fleet Desc |
The textual description of the sub fleet (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the sub fleet description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the sub fleet associated with the description specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the sub fleet. Zoom facility available. |
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves the sub fleet associated with the aircraft specified here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the sub fleet irrespective of the aircraft to which they are attached. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the sub fleet details in the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:
Sub Fleet # |
The number identifying the sub fleet. |
Status |
The status of the sub fleet, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Sub Fleet Desc |
The description of the sub fleet. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the sub fleet was last modified. |
Click the hyperlinked sub fleet number in the multiline to edit the details.
Click the “Recompute” pushbutton to recompute the selected sub fleet utilization factors.
Selecting sub fleet for modification – An overview
In this page, you can select a sub fleet to modify its details. If you know the sub fleet number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the sub fleet number, status, sub fleet description and aircraft registration number.
The system retrieves the details of sub fleet in the “Active” or “Inactive” status.
