Select the “Maintain MAT Mapping” activity in the Maintenance Asset Tracker business component, under the “Maintenance Setup” business process.

The “Maintain Map Mapping” page appears.

The system displays the following tile section:

Unmapped

Select this tile if you wish to retrieve details of Part-Serial that has not been mapped to any asset.

Mapped

Select this tile if you wish to retrieve details of assets that are mapped.

All

Select this option if you wish to retrieve details of assets that are both mapped and unmapped

Note: Ensure that, If the set option for ‘Enable MAT mapping for LOT controlled Parts” in the “Set Finance Process Parameters” of the “OU Setup” business component is set as '0', if you wish to view  only the serial # controlled parts in 'Unmapped', 'Mapped' and 'All' tiles.

Ø Enter the following field:

Search Criteria

The criteria, whether Part #/Part Desc./Serial #/Mfr. Lot #/Component #/Asset # based on which you wish to retrieve part details in the multiline.

Ø Click the “Get” pushbutton to retrieve all the parts details in the multline based on the options settings.

Ø Click the “Advanced Search” pushbutton. Click there to know more.

Note: If the set option for lot controlled is enabled, on search results include the lot controlled part considering other search criteria too.

Ø Click the “Advanced Search” button at the top right of the “Maintain MAT Mapping” activity under the “Maintenance Asset Tracker” business component:

Ø Enter the following fields:

Company/FB

Use the drop-down list box to select the Company or Finance Book. The system lists all the ‘active’ Posting FB's.

By default the system displays 'All' in this field.

Part # / Component #

The part or component number. The system lists all the part classifications from the Part Master

Note that the system displays the value as set based on the parameter “Applicable Part Classifications for MAT Mapping”.

Part Classification/

Use the drop-down list box to specify the part classification.

Part Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of part. The system lists all the part types from the Part Master & default with the values according to the set option: Applicable Part Types for MAT Mapping.

Part Category/Display Option

Use the drop down list box to select the category to which the part belongs. The system lists all the all the part categories as defined in the “Part Administration”

 

Use the drop down list box to select the option by which the search results will be displayed.

The system lists the following options:

·         Aircraft – Select this option to retrieve aircraft for maintaining asset identifier details.

·         All Components – Select this option to retrieve all components for maintaining asset identifier details.

·         Inventoried Components – Select this option to retrieve all stocked components for maintaining asset identifier details.

·         Attached Components – Select this option to retrieve all components attached to the aircraft configuration.

Serial/Mfr. Lot #

The serial number of the part.

 

The manufacturer lot number of the part.

Warehouse/Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to specify the warehouse. The system lists all the active warehouses from warehouse master in Storage Administration.

 

Use the drop-down list box to specify the work center. The system lists all the active work centers from work centre master in Work centre under Maintenance Setup

Asset Class/Group,

Use the drop-down list box to specify the asset class.  The system lists all the 'Active' asset class respectively from Asset Type Definition under the Fixed Asset Management.

 

Use the drop-down list box to specify the group to which the asset belongs.

Proposal #

The number identifying the proposal by which the asset was created.

Ref. Doc. Type/Ref. Doc. #

Use the drop-down list box to select the reference document that triggered the part creation in the inventory. The system lists the options “Goods Receipt", "Unplanned Receipt", "Opening Balance", "Stock Correction", "Loan & Rental Receipt" and "Repair Receipt".

 

The number identifying the reference document (Alphanumeric, 40).

Cost Center / Analysis #

The cost center associated to the asset number.

 

The analysis code associated to the asset number.

Dep. Category

Use the drop-down list box to the category to which you wish to depreciate the asset.

Search By

Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis of search.

Include Tracking ID Asset

Check this check box to – tracking id asset -

 

Ø Click the “Search” pushbutton.

Ø Select the “FA Hub” link to launch the Fixed Assets Hub activity.

The system displays the following the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The textual description of the part

Serial # / Mfr. Lot #

The number identifying the serial number of the maintenance object / The manufacturer lot number of the maintenance object.

SRC Doc. Type

The source document type of the part

Aircraft Reg. #

The aircraft registration number.

Ø Enter the following fields in the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Asset #

The asset number that you wish to associate to the maintenance object (Alphanumeric, 18). Ensure that the asset number is already defined in the “Asset Capitalization” business component, if the “Maintenance Asset Tracker” business component interacts with the “Asset Capitalization” business component.

Help facility available.

Ensure that the number entered in this code is an active asset code which has not been already mapped to any of the existing part management.

Tag #

The asset tag number that you wish to associate to the maintenance object (Integer). Ensure that the asset tag is already defined for the asset number in the “Asset Capitalization” business component and is in “Active” status, if the “Maintenance Asset Tracker” business component interacts with the “Asset Capitalization” business component.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Mapping Status

The mapping status of the part-serial which could be mapped - Active or unmapped – inactive.

 

Ø Enter the following fields in the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Effective From

The date from which the mapping is effective.

The system displays the following fields in the “Part & Asset Details” multiline:

Effective To

The date up to which mapping done for the part serial is effective.

History

View History should be available only for the parts which are all mapped to an Assets # and Tag #

Initiating Doc. Type

The initiating document type of the part-serial.

Initiating Doc. #

The number identifying the initiating document of the part-serial.

Last Updated Doc. Type

The type of document of part-serial that was updated last.

Last Updated Doc. #

The document number of the part-serial that was updated last.

Component #

The number identifying the component for which the asset identifier details must be entered (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Current Location

Load the Current location based on the metadata of the current location for the distinct last updated doc types.

Facility Type

To lists the options “Tools”, “Equipment” and “Others”. By default, this field is set to “Tools”.

Facility Object #

The code identifying the facility object associated to the facility (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the facility object code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Facility #

The number identifying the facility for which you wish to define or update the asset identifier details (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the facility number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.

Facility Category

To lists all the quick codes of type “Facility Category” defined in the “Work Center” business component.

Tracking ID Asset?

Indicates whether the asset in included in tracking ID.

Finance Book

The finance book associated to the asset number.

Cost Center

The cost center associated to the asset number.

Analysis #

The code identifying the analysis code associated with the part.

Subanalsyis #

The code identifying the sub analysis code associated with the part.

Book Value

The book value of the maintenance object.

Asset Location Code

The code identifying the asset location.

Tag Status

The tag status of the maintenance object.

Possession Status

The possession status of the aircraft, which could be “Leased-In” or “Leased Out”.

Parent Aircraft Reg. #

The registration number of the parent aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30).

Warehouse #

The warehouse where the part is stocked.

Work Center

The work center to which the facility is associated (Alphanumeric, 30).

Wh-Zone #

The zone in which the part is stocked.

Bin #

The bin in which the part is stocked.

Manufacturer Serial #

The number identifying the manufacturer serial number.

Object Created At

The organizational unit in which the facility object is created.

Serial # Created At

The organizational unit in which the serial number for the part is created.

Object Condition

The condition of the maintenance object.

Aircraft Model #

The model to which the aircraft belongs (Alphanumeric, 20). You can enter the model number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all aircraft with model numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Last Modified By

The login ID of the user who last modified the asset mapping details.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the asset mapping details were last modified.

Stocking Point

Use the drop-down list box to select the organizational unit in which the part is stocked. The system lists all organizational units in which the part can be stocked.

Planning Base

Select the organizational unit in which the maintenance activities on the aircraft are planned. The system lists all the organizational units where aircraft can be created.

Maintenance Base

To select the organizational unit to which the facilities and tools is associated. The system lists all those organization units that are defined in the “Work Center” and “Facility Management” business components, if the current business component interacts with the “Work Center” and “Facility Management” business components.

 

The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:

Mapped Parts

Color code indicating the status of mapping of the part-serial to the asset.

·         Green – Indicates active mapped assets

Unmapped Parts

Color code indicating the status of mapping of the part-serial to the asset.

·         Orange – Indicates inactive unmapped assets.

Click the “Auto Suggest” pushbutton to automatically suggest the user to map an asset to a part serial.

Note: Ensure that one record in the multiline is selected.

Ø “Click the “Update Asset ID” pushbutton to save the details against newly generated Asset # and Tag #.
