This tab page allows you to view the revision details of the document.

The system displays the following fields in the “Revision Policy” group box:

Revision Cycle

The revision cycle of the document, which could be one of the following:

  • “Not Required” – Indicates that the revision of the document is not required.

  • “As Required” – Indicates that the revision of the document is done whenever required.

  • “Periodic” – Indicates that the revision of the document is performed periodically.

Revision Interval

The interval between the previous revision and the current revision.

Next. Rev Due On

The date on which the next revision is due.

Action on Revision

The action to be taken on  the current revision, if a subsequent revision of the same document # is registered later, which could be one of the following:

  • “None” – Indicates that no action needs to be taken.

  • “Supercede Previous Revision” – Indicates that the previous revision needs to be superceded by the new revision.

  • “As Required” – Indicates that the action to be taken as required by the user.

Superceding Action

The superceding action to be performed on the current revision, if subsequent revisions of the same document # are registered later .

The system displays the following fields in the “Revision Details” group box:

Revision Date

The date on which the document is revised.

Reason for Revision

The reason for revising the document.

Zoom facility available.

Revision Remarks

Any remarks pertaining to the revision of the document.

Zoom facility available.

Superceding Rev. #

The superceding revision number of the document.

Current Active Revision #

The latest and currently active revision number of the document.

Revision Implication

The implication caused due to the revision.

Revision Action Status

The status of the revision action.
