Setting float management parameters
Select the “Set Float Management Parameters” activity in the “Float Management” business component.
The “Set Float Management Parameters” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” section:
Entity Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the float entity for which the details are to be retrieved. The system lists the following values along with a blank value:
The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the entity. The system lists the values “Active” and “Inactive” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the entity details in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Entity Details” multiline:

Use the drop-down list box to specify the type of the float entity. Mandatory. The system lists the following values along with a blank value:
The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Entity |
The name identifying the Float entity. Mandatory. |
Description |
The description of the Float entity. Mandatory. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the entity. The system lists the values “Active” and “Inactive”. |
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
Float Parameters Defined? |
Indicates whether the parameters are defined for the float entity which could be “Yes” or “No”. |
Created By |
The name of the user who created the entity. |
Created Date |
The date on which the entity was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who modified the entity recently. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the entity was modified recently. |
Click the “Define Float Entities” pushbutton to define the float entities.
