Managing Lead Time
Select the “Manage Lead Time” activity in the “Float Management” business component.
The “Manage Lead Time” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search” section:
Lead Time For |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the option for which the Lead Time details should be retrieved. The system lists the options “Purchase” and “Repair” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Time Types |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the time type for the Lead Time. The system lists all the active values defined in the “Maintain Time Types for Lead Time” screen along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default |
Supplier # |
The number identifying the supplier of the part. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part for which the Lead Time should be retrieved. |
Status |
Use the Drop down list box to specify the status of the Lead Time. The system lists the values “active” and “inactive”. The system displays the value “active”, by default. |
Period |
The starting date in the range of dates between which the Lead Time should be retrieved. |

The ending date in the range of dates between which the Lead Time should be retrieved. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the Lead Time parameter details.
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Lead Time For |

The number identifying the part for which the Lead Time details are recorded. |
Year |
Specify the year for which the Lead Time is recorded. |
Month |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the month for the year specified. The system lists the values “January”, “February”, “March”, “April”, “May”, “June”, “July”, “August”, “September”, “October”, “November” and “December” along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Value |
The value for the lead time which could be one of the following values:

UOM |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the unit of measurement of the Lead Time Value. The system lists the values “Hours”, “Days”, “Weeks” and “Months” along with the blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Remarks |
Any textual description pertaining to the Lead Time. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the Lead Time. The system lists the values “active” and “inactive”. The system displays the value “active”, by default. |
Source |
The source of the Lead Time parameter value which could be “Manual” or “Transaction”.

Updated By |
The name of the user who updated the Lead Time parameter. |
Updated Date and Time |
The date and time at which the Lead Time parameter was updated. |
Created By |
The name of the user who created the Lead Time parameter. |
Created Date and Time |
The date and time at which the Lead Time parameter was created. |
Part Description |
A breif note on the part which the Lead Time details are recorded. |
Supplier Name |
The name of the supplier of the part. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to record the Lead Time parameter details.
