Reviewing float results
Select the “Review Float Results” activity in the “Float Management” business component.
The “Review Float Results” page appears.
Enter the following field:
Float Run # |
The number identifying the Float Run. The system displays the watermark “Run # / Float Type / Category”. Smart Search enabled. Note: Float Run #s which are in status ‘Processed’ or ‘Partially Processed’ will be retrieved by comparing the entered value with ‘Float Run #’, ‘Float Type’ and ‘Category’ using Elastic Search logic. |
Click the “Go” pushbutton to retrieve the recorded details against the Run #.
The system displays the following field:
Ref. Float Plan # / Rev # |
The number identifying the reference float plan document. The revision number of the Float Plan. |
Enter the following field:
Float Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the float type. The system lists all the ‘active’ entities of type ‘Float Type’ defined in the “Define Process Entities” activity of the “Common Master” business component. |
The system displays the following field:
Plan Run Date |
The date on which the Float Plan was run. |
Enter the following field:
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the user status of the Run #. The system lists all the ‘active’ Entities with set option 'Applicable for Float Run' set as 'Yes' defined under the Entity Type 'User Status' in the Set Float Management Parameters activity. |
The system displays the following fields:
Processed Date & Time |
The date on which the Float Forecast Plan was last processed. |
Planned By |
The Employee ID and Employee Name who created the float plan. |
Enter the following field:
Category |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the category of the float Run. The system lists all the ‘active’ Entities with set option 'Applicable for Float Run' is set as 'Yes' defined under the Entity Type 'Category' in the “Set Float Management Parameters” activity. |
The system displays the following field:
Status |
The status of the Float Run document. |
Select the “Float Computation & Optimization” tab to recompute and optimize the float results for the Part #/Part Planning Group.
Select the “Float Input Parameters” tab to update the float input parameters for the Part #/Part Planning Group
Click the “Recompute” pushbutton to recompute the float results.
Click the “Reset” pushbutton to reset the Float results.
The system resets the values in all the columns in both the tabs to the last saved values against the latest revision # of the Run#/Part#-Line#.
Click the “Update” pushbutton to update the existing Float Results.
Revision # gets generated / incremented in the line level for the modified lines and the modified values are saved against the Latest Revision.
Reviewing Float Computation and Optimization
This tab enables to recompute and optimize the float results for the Part #/Part Planning Group.
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:
