Mapping customer to user and base

Select the “Customer-User & Base Mapping” link under the “Customer” business component.
The “Customer-User & Base Mapping” page appears.

Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following field in the “Customer and Base Info” group box:

Customer # |
The number identifying the customer.(Alphanumeric,18). Mandatory. Ensure that this number is defined in the “Create Customer Record” activity of the current business component. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following:

Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Enter the following:
|
User # |
The number identifying the user to be mapped to the customer.(Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. This field cannot be modified for existing records in the multiline. Help facility available. |

Base |
Use the drop-down list box to select the work center to be mapped to the customer. The system lists all active work centers defined in the “Work Center” business component. (Where work centers and base are same). Where work centers and base are same. Data selecting in this field is mandatory. |

Effective From |
The date starting from which mapping is effective. (Date Format).Mandatory. This field cannot be modified for existing records in the multiline. |
|
Effective To |
The date until which the mapping is effective. (Date Format). Ensure that this date is later than or the same as the “Effective From” date. |
Note: The “Effective To” date can be modified only when the effective time period of the mapping has expired.
The system displays the following in the multiline

Created By |
The login ID of the user, who created the customer-user & base mapping. |
|
Created Date |
The date on which customer-user & base mapping was created. |
|
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified customer-user & base mapping. |
|
Last Modified Date |
The date on which customer-user & base mapping was last modified. |
To update the customer-user and customer-base mapping
Click the “Update” pushbutton.
Note: The system will display an error message, if any other concurrent user attempts to simultaneously modify the mapping details.
Note: Ensure that the customer, base and user combination does not overlap across the effective time period.
