Using online help

Using this page, you can view the data package transactions from main base to offline base and from to offline base to main base. You can specify the source of the data package and the date range you wish to view the transaction details. Based on the Usage Mode and the selected source, details such as source, destination, file name of the data package, extracted path, load path, etc. are displayed in the multiline.

The “View Data Transfer History” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date & Time Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Source

The source of the data package i.e. the base from which the data package is extracted.

  • All - Select this option to displays the data packages extracted from main base and offline base.

  • Offline - Select this option to display the data packages extracted from the offline base.

  • Main Base - Select this option to display the data packages extracted from the main base.

  • By default, the radio button “All” appears selected.

From / To Date

The starting date in the range of dates from which you wish to retrieve the data transfer details. Enter the ending date in the range of dates until which you wish to retrieve the data transfer details, in the editable box provided alongside.

You must enter either ‘From Date’ or ‘To Date’ and the date / time entered must not be a future date.

The system displays the following details:

Usage Mode

The usage mode which indicates whether the transactions are carried out from main base or offline field base. The following values are displayed based on the option setting in the “Configure Offline Parameters” activity of the current business component.

  • Online: Main Base

  • Offline: Offline Area #

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:

Source

The base from which the data package is extracted.

Destination

The base to which the data package is loaded.

Request #

The request number generated for each extraction / loading process.

Folder Name

The file name of the data package extracted / loaded is saved.

Status

The status of the data package extraction process

Message Center

Any success / error message is displayed based on the extraction status.

Extracted Path

The path in the main base or offline base in which the data package is extracted.

Extracted by / Date

The name of the user who extracted the data. The date and time on which the data is extracted is concatenated and displayed alongside.

Load Path

The path in which the data package is loaded in the offline base or main base.

Loaded by / Date

The system displays one of the following values:

  • ‘System’ / date on which loading happens, if the loading is done automatically by the scheduler without any user action.

  • User name / date on which loading happens, if the loading happens by user action for failed packages.
