Searching for work units

Specify any or all of the following in the "Search Criteria" group box of the “Initialize Maint. Program & Update Compliance Information” page.

Display Option	Use the drop-down list box to select the display option. The system lists the options: "pending Initialization", “All Tasks” and “tasks”. By default, the system displays “All Tasks”. “All Work Units” – Select this option, to retrieve all tasks from the respective aircraft maintenance program or component maintenance program. “Due Work Units” – Select this option, to retrieve only those tasks for which the next schedule date or next schedule value is defined in the respective aircraft maintenance program or component maintenance program. “Pending Initialization” - Select this option, to retrieve tasks for which the Next Schedule Date or Next Schedule Value is not available or not yet defined in the Maintenance Program.
Maintenance Object	Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance object associated with the tasks, Mandatory. The drop-down list displays the following: "Aircraft Reg #", "Part # / Serial #", "Component #", "Aircraft Model #", "Attached Aircraft Reg #" and, "Attached Component #". Enter the name or ID of the maintenance object that you have selected in the previous drop-down list box. The multiline displays tasks mapped to the maintenance program associated with the maintenance object that you specify as illustrated in the following table. Tell me more
Program Details	Use the drop-down list to select the program-specific attribute of the tasks. The drop-down list box displays the following: “Maint. Program #”, “Program Item Type”, “Eng. Doc Type” and, “Eng. Doc #”. Enter the name/ID of the “Maint. Program #”, “Program Item Type”, “Eng. Doc Type” or “Eng. Doc #”, which you have selected in the previous drop-down list box. Task Details	Use the drop-down list to select the task-specific attribute of the tasks. The drop-down list box displays the following: “Task #”, “Task Description”, “Task Type” and “Task Category”. This search option is wild card enabled. Tell me more
Rem. Value <=	The remaining value of the task in the first input box and, the parameter in which the remaining value is measured, in the drop-down list box. The drop-down list displays "Days" and all the base parameters defined in the Aircraft component, which are in Active status. The system retrieves the tasks whose remaining value is less than or equal to the value you specify here.

Note: Leave the fields blank, to retrieve the work units irrespective of the search criteria.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the work units and the compliance information (if available) based on the search criteria.

Note: The system retrieves all the work units that are associated to “Active” aircraft maintenance program or component maintenance program, in the “Task Details” multiline.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the "Search By Maintenance Object" tab, to search for the work units based on the maintenance object.
