Select the “Set Options” link under the “Capacity Planning” business component.
The "Set Options" page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Record / change the following in the “Planning Horizon” group box.
Short Term (Days) |
The maximum number of days that comprise a short-term period. A short-term period: is the horizon or time interval required for capacity planning for a short duration. Example: 60 days. |
Medium Term (Days) |
The maximum number of days that comprise a medium-term period. A medium-term period is the horizon or time interval required for capacity planning for medium duration. Example:180 days |
Long Term (Days) |
The maximum number of days that comprise a long-term period. A long-term period is the horizon or time interval required for capacity planning for a long duration. Example: 365 days |
Overtime Hours Allowed |
The number of hours an employee can work overtime in a day. |
Enter the following in the “Sourcing Strategy” multiline.
Alternate Parts |
Check the box to indicate that alternate parts can be used to resolve material bottlenecks. |
Purchase |
Check the box to indicate that parts can be purchased to resolve material bottlenecks. If “Purchase” is selected, the purchase order raised to purchase a part can be referred as the Sourcing strategy to resolve material bottleneck. |
Alternate Warehouse |
Check the box to indicate that parts can be procured from another warehouse to resolve material bottlenecks. |
Alternate Stock Status |
Check the box to indicate that an alternate stock status can be used to resolve material bottlenecks. Stock status such as Internal-Civil, Internal-Military, Customer-Civil and, Customer-Military: can be used to resolve material bottlenecks. |
Select the “Set Options” pushbutton.
Record Info
The following is displayed in the “Record Statistics” group box.
Last Modified by |
The identification number and name of the employee who most recently set the parameters. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the parameters were set. |
