In this page, you can view the parts consumption details of parts other than of type “Component” for a task or component work order. You can specify the task for which you need to view the parts consumption details, such as the issued, used and returned number of parts. If the task number is not specified, the system displays the parts consumption details of the selected component work order.

The “View Parts Consumption Information” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “CWO Details” group box:

Comp. Work Order #

The component work order selected in the “Select Component Work Order” page.

Component #

The number that identifies the component on which the component work order was generated.

CWO Description

The textual description of the component work order.

Zoom facility available.

CWO Status

The status of the component work order, which could be “Scheduled”, “Inprogress”,  “Completed”, "Pre-closed" or "Closed".

Work Center #

The work center to which the selected task or component work order is assigned.

Part #

The part number of the component on which the component work order has been generated.

Serial #

The serial number of the component on which the component work order has been generated.

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which you need to view the part consumption details. The system displays the numbers (along with the sequence number) of all the tasks within the selected component work order. The system sets the task number selected in the “View CWO Execution Information” page by default. If no task number is selected, the system sets the field blank by default.

The system displays the following:

Task Status

The status of the selected task within the component work order, which could be ”Scheduled”, ”In-Progress”, “Completed”, "Pre-closed" or “Closed”.

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Zoom facility available.

Note: If the task number is not selected, the system displays the part consumption details for the selected component work order.

The system displays the following in the “Part Consumption Details” multiline:

Part #

The part number, which is consumed for the task or component work order.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

UOM

The unit of measurement for the quantity of parts used, issued or returned, for the task or component work order.

Used Qty.

The quantity of parts consumed for the task or component work order. The system displays “0”, if the issue basis of the part is “Returnable”.

Issue Qty.

The quantity of parts issued from the warehouse for the specified task or component work order.

Stock Status

The stock status of the part.

Pending Return Qty.

The quantity of parts returned to the warehouse.

If the “Job Type” of the component work order is selected as “Component”, the system displays the following fields:

Returned Quantity - Core

The quantity of parts that are issued as core returnables against the component work order and pending for return. The system displays “0”, if the issue basis of the part is “Returnable”.

Returned Quantity - Excess

The difference between the issued quantity and consumed quantity of parts issued as non-returnable against the component work order.

Note: If the “Job Type” of the component work order is selected as “Make”, the excess return quantity is calculated with respect to the parts that are issued as non-returnable and core-returnable against the component work order.

Issue Basis

The basis on which the part is issued against the component work order.

Consumption Mode

The consumption mode of the part number, which can be “Regular” or “Backflush”.

Warehouse #

The warehouse from which parts are issued for the task or component work order.
