Selecting work delay codes for modification

You can select the work delay code to be modified. Tell me more.

Select the “Edit Work Delay Codes” link under the “Component Work Reporting” business component.

The “Select Work Delay Code” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box:

Work Delay #

The work delay code for which you need to modify the details (Alphanumeric, 25).

Select the “Edit Work Delay Code” link provided along side, to modify the delay code details.

To search for the work delay code

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box. Entry in the following fields is optional.

Work Delay #	The work delay code for which you need to modify the details (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” wildcard character. The system lists all the work delay codes that are similar to the values entered in this field. Leave this field blank to retrieve all work delay codes.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the work delay code you need to modify. It can be either “Active” or “Inactive”. The system lists all the work delay codes that are in the status specified in this field. Leave this field blank if you to wish to retrieve details of all work delay codes irrespective of their status. The system sets the field to “Active” by default.
Delay Description	The textual description of the work delay code that you need to modify. Zoom facility available.
Delay Category	Use the drop down list box to specify the category of the work delay code that you need to modify. The system lists all the quick codes of type “Delay Category” and status “Active”. Leave this field blank if you to wish to retrieve details of all the work delay codes irrespective of their category. The system leaves the field blank by default.

Click the “Search” pushbutton, to display the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

Work Delay #	The work delay code retrieved by the system.
Delay Description	The textual description of the work delay code.
Delay Category	The category of the work delay code.
Status	The status of the work delay code, which is either “Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the hyperlinked work delay number in the multiline, to modify the work delay details.

Selecting work delay codes for modification – An overview

You can select the work delay code to be modified. If you know the work delay number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on filter criteria, such as the work delay number, delay description, status and delay category. The system displays the details of the work delay codes that match the search filter criteria.
