Viewing material plan for a CWO
This page enables you to view the material plan details of a component work order. Tell me more.
Select the “View Material Plan” link at the bottom of the “Select Work Order” page.
The “View Material Plan” page appears.
The system displays the following field:
Date Format |
The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
The system displays the following details in the “CWO Details” group box:
Comp. Work Order # |
The component work order for which the material plan details are displayed. |
CWO Description |
The textual description of the component work order. |
Enter the following field:
Task # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the planned material details must be viewed. The system lists all the tasks that are already associated to the component work order. The system displays the number as a combination of the task number and the sequence number. |
Leave this field blank to view the part details for the entire component work order. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve task details.
The system displays the following fields:
Task Description |
The textual description of the task. |
Work Center # |
The number identifying the work center that is responsible for the task or CWO execution. |
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center. |
Job Type |
The job type of the component work order, which can be “Component”., “Receipt-Inspection”, “Facility”, “Piece Mart”, “Make”, “Project” or “Miscellaneous”. |
Make/Piece Part # |
The number identifying the make part or piece part for which the component work order has been raised. |
The system displays the following details in the “Schedule Details” group box:
Planned Start Date |
The date on which the task or the CWO is planned to be started. |
Planned End Date |
The date on which the task or the CWO is planned to be completed. |
The system displays the following details in the “Planned Material Details” multiline:
Part # |
The number identifying the part that is assigned to the task or CWO. |
Part Type |
The type to which the part belongs. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Part Control Type |
The control type of the part, which can be "Lot Controlled", "Serial Controlled", "Lot & Serial Controlled" or "None". |
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse from where the part was issued. |
UOM |
The unit of measurement for the part. |
Stock Status |
The stock status of the part. |
Planning Action |
The method by which the part is assigned to the CWO or task. |
Required Date |
The date on which the parts are required for the component work order to be executed. |
Qty. |
The total number of parts that you have requested for the task or CWO execution. |
Est. Qty. |
The total number of parts estimated for the task or CWO execution. |
Avail. Qty. |
The total number of parts that are available in the selected warehouse . |
Planning Type |
The planning type of the part, which can be “Dispositionable”, “Allocable” or “Not applicable”. |
Consumption Mode |
The consumption mode of the part, which can be “Backflush” or “Regular”. |
Resv. Qty. |
The number of parts that are already reserved for the selected task or component work order. |
Alloc. Qty. |
The number of parts that are already allocated for the selected task or component work order. |
Issue Qty. |
The number of parts issued for the task execution from the warehouse. |
Return Qty. |
The quantity of parts returned to the stores. |
Problem Qty. |
The number of parts that would not be available for carrying out the task or component work order on the planned start date. The system determines this quantity based on the following: |

Earliest Available Date |
The date, on which the parts will be available the earliest, based on the purchase request raised. |
Req. Qty. |
The total number of parts that you have requested for the task or CWO execution. |
Material Request # |
The number identifying the material request raised for the component work order. |
Request Mode |
The request mode for the requested part in the CWO. The request mode will be

Substitute Availability |
Indicates whether the substitute part is available in the warehouse. The system displays the options “Yes” or “No”. |
Substitute Part # |
The number identifying the substitute part. |
Substitute Type |
The type of the substitute part, which can be “NHA”, “Specific Alternate” or “Not allowed”. |
Issue Basis |
The basis on which the part has been issued, which can be any one of the following:

Part Cost |
The value of the part. |
Requirement Type |
The requirement type of the part, which can be “Specific” or “Normal”. |
PBH? |
Indicates the PBH status of the part. The system displays the following:

Effectivity Notes |
The conditions under which the requested part is effective for the NHA part/component in the CWO. |

Select the “View Estimated Part Requirements” link at the bottom of the page to view the estimated part details.
Select the “View Material Request” link at the bottom of the page to view the material request associated to the CWO.
Viewing material plan for a CWO – An overview
The details of the materials planned for the task or CWO execution in the “Plan Material” page in the “Plan Component Work Order” activity can be viewed in this page. You can view the details for the entire CWO or for the tasks belonging to the CWO.
You can view the details for a specific task. The part number, its type, description, warehouse to which the part is associated and the unit of measurement for the part are displayed. The quantity that is planned for the selected task execution, the quantity estimated, the quantity issued already for the task or CWO and the quantity that is already reserved are also displayed. If a purchase request is raised against the part, details such as the quantity for which the PR is raised, the problem quantity that would not be available on the planned start date and the earliest available date of the part are displayed.
