This page enables you to view the details of the parts estimated for carrying out the component work order and the tasks associated to it. Tell me more.

The “View Estimated Parts Requirements” page appears.

The system displays the following details in the “CWO Details” group box:

Comp. Work Order #

The component work order for which the estimated part details are displayed.

Maintenance Type

The maintenance type to which the component work order belongs.

CWO Description

The textual description of the component work order.

Zoom facility available.

Job Type

The job type of the component work order, which can be “Component”., “Receipt-Inspection”, “Facility”, “Piece Mart”, “Make”, “Project” or “Miscellaneous”.

Make/Piece Part #

The number identifying the make part or piece part for which the component work order has been raised.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Serial #

The serial number of the component against which the component work order is raised.

Task #

Use the drop-down list box to select the task for which the estimated part details must be displayed. The system lists all the tasks that are already associated to the component work order. The system displays the number as a combination of the task number and sequence number. If you have selected any task in the previous page, that task number will be displayed by default.

Material Type

Use the drop-down list box to specify the material type of the part. If the “Main Core Issue” field is set as “Required” and the task field is left blank, then the system displays the options “Main Core” and “Regular” and defaults to “Main core”. Otherwise, the system displays the option “Regular”.

If you select a value in the “Task #” field, the system displays the option “Regular” only.

The system displays the following fields:

Task Description

The textual description of the task.

Zoom facility available.

Work Center #

The work center responsible for component work order execution.

The system displays the following details in the “Spare Part Details” multiline:

Part #

The part that is required for carrying out the task.

Part Type

The type of the part.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Part Control Type

The control type of the part, which can be "Lot Controlled", "Serial Controlled", "Lot & Serial Controlled" or "None".

UOM

The unit of measurement for the part.

Stock Status

The stock status of the part.

Qty. Required

The number of parts required for carrying out the maintenance task on the component.

Warehouse #

The warehouse from which the part will be issued.

Available Qty

The number of parts available in the warehouse.

Substitute Part #

The number identifying the substitute part. The substitute part can be the NHA part number or the alternate part number.

Substitute Type

The type of the substitute part ,which could be “NHA” or “Alternate Part”.

Issue Basis

The issue basis of the part, which indicates whether the part being issued is core return, returnable or non-returnable.

Part Cost

The cost per unit of the part.

Requirement Type

If a preferred serial number is specified in the Edit Preferred Serial /Lot # information page for the part number –and task number in the multiline, the system displays “Specific” in this field. Otherwise, the system displays “Normal”.

PBH?

Indicates the PBH status of the part. The system displays the following:

  • “Not applicable” – If the possession status of the main component is not “PBH”.

  • “Yes” – If the possession status of the main component is “PBH” and the part number is available in the PBH part list of the supplier.

  • “No” – If the possession status of the main component is “PBH” and the part number requested is not available in the PBH part list of the supplier.

View Component Work Order - A summary of the activity

In this page, you can view the details of the parts required for carrying out the component work order as well as for the tasks associated to the component work order. The details of parts are already estimated in the “Create Component Work Order” activity.

You can select the task and view the part details. Details such as the part number, its description, unit of measurement for the part, quantity required for task or CWO execution, the warehouse that will issue the part, the quantity available in the warehouse, substitute part number and substitute part type are displayed in the multiline. You can view the details at the CWO level or at the task level.
