This page allows you to select a component work order for viewing its details. Tell me more.

The “Select Component Work Order” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Comp. Work Order #

The number identifying the component work order for which the details must be viewed (Alphanumeric, 18).

To search for a component work order

Comp. Work Order #

The number of the component work order for which you wish to view the details (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the CWO number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all CWO numbers that are similar to the number entered here.

Maintenance Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance type of the component work order. The system lists the options “Inspection”, “Overhaul”, “Repair” and “Others". The system retrieves the CWO number of the maintenance type specified here.

 

Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their maintenance types.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all CWO numbers whose values are similar to the value entered here.

Component #

The number identifying the component against which the CWO is raised (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all CWO numbers whose values are similar to the value entered here.

CWO Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the CWO. The system lists all the active quick codes of type “CWO Category” defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system retrieves the CWO number of the category specified here. Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their category.

Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to select the work center, which is responsible for the CWO execution. The system lists all the ‘active’ work centers that are associated with the login organizational unit and for which the login user has access rights. The system retrieves the CWO number of the work center specified here. By default, this field is left blank.

 

Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their work center.

CWO Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the CWO to be viewed. The system lists the following options:

 
  • Fresh – Select this option to view the details of a fresh CWO.

 
  • Scheduled – Select this option to view the details of a scheduled CWO.

 
  • In Progress – Select this option to view the details of the CWO that is in progress.

 
  • Completed - Select this option to view the details of the CWO that is completed.

 
  • Closed - Select this option to view the details of the CWO that is closed.

 

  • Pre-Closed – Select this option to view the details of the CWO that is pre-closed.

 

  • Cancelled - Select this option to view the details of the CWO that is cancelled.

 

By default, this field is left blank.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the user status of the CWO. The system lists all the ‘active’ quick codes of the type “User Status” defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity. The system retrieves the CWO number of the user status specified here.

 

Leave this field blank to retrieve the CWOs irrespective of their user status.

CWO Priority

Use the drop-down list box to indicate the priority for execution of the component work order you want to view. The drop-down list displays all priority numbers defined in the Common Masters component, having both Active and Inactive status.

The system retrieves component work orders that are assigned the priority you specify.

Job Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the job type of the component work order. The system displays the options “Component”, “Receipt-Inspection”, “Facility”, “Piece Part”,  “Make”, “Project” and “Miscellaneous”.

The system retrieves details of component work orders that belong to the selected job type.

Work Scope

The number identifying the work scope against which the component work order has been created (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves details of all component work orders created against the work scope number entered here.

Planned Date: From

The date on which the component work order execution is planned for start (Date Format).

Planned Date: To

The date on which the component work order execution is planned for completion (Date Format).

Note: Ensure that the date entered in the “Planned Date: From” is not later than the date entered in the “Planned Date: To” field.

If you have left all the fields blank, the system retrieves all the component work orders created in the login organizational unit.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline based on the filter criteria entered:

Comp. Work Order #

The number identifying the component work order for which the details are displayed.

CWO Description

The textual description of the component work order.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Part Serial #

The serial number of the component against which the work order is raised.

Work Center #

The work center that is responsible for component work order execution.

CWO Status

The status of the component work order, which could be one of the following:

 
  • Fresh – When the component work order is created.

 
  • Scheduled – When the component work order is scheduled.

 
  • In Progress – When the execution of the component work order is in progress.

 
  • Completed – When the execution of the component work order is completed.

 
  • Closed – When the component work order is closed.

 

  • Pre-Closed – When the component work order is pre-closed.

 

  • Cancelled – When the component work order is cancelled.

CWO Category

The category to which the component work order belongs.

CWO Priority

The priority for execution of the component work order.  

User Status

The user-defined status of the component work order.

Child CWO Count

Selecting CWO for viewing – An overview

View Component Work Order - A summary of the activity

This page allows you to select a component work order for viewing the details. You can view details of The component work orders that are in the “Fresh”, “Scheduled”, “In Progress”, “Completed”, “Closed”, "Pre-Closed" or “Canceled” status.

If you know the CWO number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the CWO number, maintenance type, part number, component number, CWO category, work center, status, user status, job type, work scope number and the range of planned start and end dates. Details such as component work order number, CWO description, part number, serial number of the component, work center, CWO status, CWO category, user status, and the number of child CWOs are displayed.
