Select the “Initialize Monthly Reliability Alert Value for Part #” link at the bottom of the “Initialize Monthly Reliability Alert Value for ATA #” page.
The “Initialize Monthly Alert Value for Part #” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields must be entered. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following field in the “Fleet Details”:
Fleet # |
A unique number assigned to the fleet. |
Reliability Calendar # |
The number identifying the reliability calendar. |
Calendar Valid From Month – Year |
The year and month in which the reliability calendar begins. |
Calendar Valid To Month – Year |
The year and month in which the reliability calendar ends. |
Enter the following fields in the “Month & ATA Details” group box:
ATA # |
Use the drop down list box to select the ATA number. The system displays all the ATA codes that are defined for the selected fleet number and for the reliability calendar. By default, the system displays the ATA number as selected in the previous page. |
Month |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the calendar month from which the reliability calendar begins. The system lists all the twelve months of the year. The system displays “Jan” by default. |
Year |
Use the drop-down list box to select the year. The system displays the all the values of the year in the ascending order within the span of "Valid From Year" and "Valid To Year" as defined for the selected calendar. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the results.
Enter the following field in the “Part Details” multiline:
Part # |
A unique number identifying the part for which the initial reliability alert value is to be entered. (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory. |

Part Description |
The textual description of the part. |
Enter the following field in the “Part Details” multiline:
Initial Alert Value |
The initialization of reliability alert values, is provided by either the operator or OEM . |
The system displays the following:
Status |
The status of the initialized alert value, which can be “Fresh” or ”Confirmed”. |
Enter the following:
Remarks |
Any comments pertaining to the part details. (Alphanumeric,255). |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the part for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the same.
Click the “Initialize” pushbutton to initialize the reliability alert value for Part #.

In this page, you can calculate the alert value calculated on the basis of the number of removals and premature removals in the specific month for a component. The system displays the month and year of the reliability calendar to initialize the monthly alert values. You can select the part number and enter the initial alert value for the selected part. The system displays the description and the status of initialized alert value.
