This tab enables to define the shift/duty pattern with description and duration. This tab also displays the ‘shift/duty mapped’ hyperlink for a shift/duty pattern once the applicable shift/duty and duration is mapped to it.

Shift/Duty Pattern

The pattern of the shift/duty #.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the shift/duty. The system lists the values ‘Active’, ‘Inactive’ along with a blank value.

The system displays the value ‘Active’, by default.

Shift/Duty

Use the drop-down list box to select the shift/duty. The drop-down list box displays the shift/duty patterns defined in Roster Management including “Off-Day”.

Shift/Duty Pattern

The pattern of the shift/duty #. Mandatory.

Description

The description of the shift/duty pattern. Mandatory.

Duration (Days)

The duration of the shift/duty pattern. Mandatory.

The system displays the following field:

Shift/Duty Mapped

The shift/duty and duration mapping of the shift/duty pattern. Click the hyperlink to launch the “Shift/Duty Mapped” pop-up. If the applicable shift/duty and duration is mapped, then the system displays the concatenation of the shift/duty and the duration. If the applicable shift/duty and duration is not mapped, the system displays the value ‘No’ with hyperlink.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the shift/duty which could be ‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’.

The system displays the following field:

No. of Employees

The number of employees associated to the shift/duty pattern.

Remarks

The textual description regarding the shift/duty pattern.

Addl. Reference

The additional reference regarding the shift/duty pattern.

The system displays the following fields:

Created By

The name of the user who created the shift/duty pattern.

Created Date

The date on which the shift/duty pattern was created.

Last Modified By

The name of the user who last modified the shift/duty pattern.

Last Modified Date

The date on which the shift/duty pattern was last modified.
