You can use this tab to view the component removal and installation details.

The system displays the following fields in the “Removal Details” group box:

Removed Part #

The part that has been removed.

Removed Serial #

The serial number of the part that has been removed.

Component #

The component ID of the removed part and serial number.

Removed MSN

The manufacturer serial # of the part removed in the CR transaction.

Part Description

The textual description of the removed part.

ATA #

The ATA chapter of the position code to which the removed part was attached. This indicates the system in which the part replacement has been done previously.

Removed Mfr. Lot #

The manufacturer lot # of the part removed in the CR transaction.

Removed Lot #

The removed lot # of the part removed in the CR transaction.

Tag #

The tag number given to the component after it is removed from the aircraft.

Component Condition

The condition of the removed component which could be “Serviceable” or “Unserviceable”.

Attachment Status

The attachment status of the position code, which could be one of the following:

  • Attached – Indicates that the component is attached to the position code.

  • Removed – Indicates that no component is attached to the position code.

  • New – Indicates that the position code is newly created.

  • Unknown – Indicates that the serial number of the component attached to the position code, is unknown.

  • Error – Indicates that the component attached to the position code is different from the intended component.

Removal Date

The date on which the part was removed from the position code.

Removal Time

The time at which the part was removed from the position code.

Removed By

The number identifying the employee who removed the component.

The system displays the following in the “Removal Reason Details” group box:

Removal Type

The type of the removal. The system displays one of the following:

  • Scheduled - Indicates that the component is removed to carry out preventive maintenance operations such as lubrication, or the component removal is a scheduled removal. The schedules can be based on intervals, consumption or predictive triggers.

  • Unscheduled - Indicates that the component is removed to carry out maintenance activity based on the outcome of equipment parameter inspections or on the breakdown of the equipment.

  • Others - Cases of robbery can be categorized as “Others”.

 

Basic Removal.

Indicates whether the component removal is “Basic” or “Non-basic”. The system displays “Yes”, when the component is removed due to a problem in the component. The system displays “No”, when the component is removed for accessibility reasons, that is, for removal of another component.

Reason #

The reasons for removing the part from the position code.

Remarks

Any additional remarks pertaining to the removal of the part from the position code (Alphanumeric, 256).

The system displays the following in the "SOS Details" group box.

SOS Disposition

The SOS disposition of the component ascertained during component replacement.

Duration

The period for which the component would be quarantined owing to SOS disposition, such as 1 day or 4 days.

SOS Remarks

Any supplementary information on SOS disposition of the component.

Initiated Date & Time

The date and time when the SOS disposition was recorded for the component.

Initiated By

The login ID of the employee who recorded the SOS disposition for the component.

SOS Due Date & Time

The date and time by which the quarantine of the component must be reviewed/assessed.

SOS Due Date & Time = Initiated Date & Time + Duration

Reference Details

Reference details for the SOS disposition, such as reference doc # or execution doc #.

The system displays the following fields in the “Installation Details” group box:

Source of Installed Comp

The source of the installed component. The system displays one of the following:

  • Inventory - Indicates the installed component is taken from the inventory.

  • Cannibalization - Indicates the installed component is taken from some other aircraft.

  • Swap - Indicates the installed component has been swapped between the current aircraft and some other aircraft.

  • Others - Indicates the installed component is taken from anywhere else.

Attachment Status

The attachment status of the position code, which could be one of the following:

  • Attached – Indicates that the component is attached to the position code.

  • Removed – Indicates that no component is attached to the position code.

  • New – Indicates that the position code is newly created.

  • Unknown – Indicates that the serial number of the component attached to the position code, is unknown.

  • Error – Indicates that the component attached to the position code is different from the intended component.

Installed Part #

The part that is newly installed in the position code in place of the part displayed in the “Removed Part #” field.

Installed Serial #

The serial number of the part that is newly installed in the position code.

Installed Component #

The component ID identifying the installed part number and the serial number combination.

Installed MSN

The manufacturer serial # of the part installed in the CR transaction.

Installed Mfr. Lot #

The manufacturer lot # of the part installed in the CR transaction.

Installed Lot #

The lot # of the part installed in the CR transaction.

Part Desc

The textual description of the installed part.

Installation Date & Time

The date and time applicable for the part installation.

Installed By

The number identifying the employee that has performed the installation.

Acceptance Ref.

The acceptance reference which may be a document or a text, indicates that the installed part # or the part # of the child component attached to installed part # / installed serial #, is “Conditional Effective” for any of the higher assembly maintenance object.

Effectivity Notes

Any additional information on the effectivity or suitability of the part to aircraft or component. The system displays the Effectivity Notes which are identified during confirmation of Component Replacement.

The field displays the string “View Effectivity Notes” which is hyperlinked to launch the “View Maintenance Info. for Part” page which displays the maintenance information of the part.

Comments

Any descriptive reason or comments for the installation of the component.

The system displays the following in the “Reversal Details” group box:    

User Defined 1

Any other additional details pertaining to the reversal of the removal or replacement transaction.

User Defined 2

Any other additional details pertaining to the reversal of the removal or replacement transaction.

User Defined 3

Any other additional details pertaining to the reversal of the removal or replacement transaction.

Remarks For Reversal

Any remarks or comments pertaining to the reversal of the removal or replacement transaction.
