Reviewing Repair rules
Select the “Auto Evaluation?” data hyperlink to open the Review Repair Rules window.
The “Review Repair Rules” pop-up window appears.
The Header section displays the following information for the unserviceable part / component from the “Route Unserviceable Components/Parts” page.
Part #
Part Description
Serial # / Lot #
Customer # / Name
Removed From A/C Reg. # / Model #
Removed From NHA Part # / Serial #
Source Document # (latest instance of Receipt #)
Rule Eval. Date & Time ( at which the rule for RO generation was evaluated by the system for the removed part / component)
The "Supplier Info" multiline displays the following information:
Rule ID |
The unique identifier of the repair rule applicable for the part |
Repair Rules |
The entire text of the repair rule. |
Rule Parameter |
The parameter for the rule applicable for the part. |
Actual Value |
The actual value of the rule parameter. |
User Status |
The user-defined status of the repair rule. |
Below the multiline, you can view the following details:
Get Current Value |
The current float value for the part. |
Message Center |
The system-generated message that indicates the correctness of the record. |
Select the “Get Current Value” pushbutton to compute and display current float value of the part / component.
Select the “Re-Evaluate Rules” to evaluate the repair order generation rules once again for the removed / unserviceable part / component routed for external repair.
On click of the “Re-Evaluate Rules” push button,
4 The “Review Repair Rules” popup closes and you the user is returned to the “Route Unserviceable Part / Component” page.
4 The “Rule Eval. Date & Time” field is updated to the date & time at which the repair rules were evaluated for the part / component at the latest.
4 The removal record for the unserviceable part / component ceases to display in the multiline of the “Route Unserviceable Part / Component” page
Select “Regenerate RO” push button to create a fresh repair order for the removed / unserviceable part / component.
4 On successful generation of repair order, the failed part / component record will disappear from the multiline in the “Route Unserviceable Parts / Components” page.
4 The “Rule Eval. Date & Time” field is updated to the date & time at which the latest repair order was generated for the part / component.
Note: The “Regenerate RO” pushbutton will be available only if the Auto Evaluation? flag for the removed / unserviceable part / component is set as Yes – With Error.
