Recording date-based schedule information for work package – An overview
In this page you can define the date-based schedule details for the work package. Date-based schedules have their periodicity defined in terms of calendar days. The schedule for the next performance of the maintenance activity will be specified in terms of a calendar date.
Date-based schedules are employed for maintenance activities, which are to be performed irrespective of the asset usage. If the asset has a constant usage pattern then the activities based on usage can be translated to date-based schedules.
The date-based schedule can be of two types: “Recurring” and “One-Time”. In case of recurring schedule, the next due date is calculated from the date of execution of the previous schedule. In case of “One-Time” schedule, the next due date is calculated at a periodic interval irrespective of the date of execution of the previous schedule.
The threshold value specifies a date or value when the work unit execution should begin. The interval in which the work unit execution has to be repeated can also be specified. Alert value or date specifies the value or date after which the corresponding work unit is considered in the component maintenance forecast.
You can also specify the positive and negative tolerance, which indicate the limits within which the work units are to be performed.
The system updates the date-based schedule details and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the current server date.
The date-based schedule can be of two types: “Recurring” and “One-Time”. In case of “One-Time” schedule, the work package will be performed on a particular date. In case of “Recurring” schedule, the work package will be performed based on the time intervals.
Set the “Schedule Type” field as “Recurring” to indicate that the work package has to be performed in repeated intervals.
Set the “Schedule Type” field as “One-Time” to indicate that the work package has to be performed on a specified date.
