Entering aircraft effectivity details for position code
In this page, you can specify the aircraft for which the position-based schedule is applicable. Tell me more.
Select the “Define Aircraft Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “Select Position – Part #” page.
The “Define Aircraft Effectivity Information” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Position Details” group box:
Aircraft Model # |
The number identifying the aircraft model with which the position code is associated. |
Configuration Class |
The configuration class associated with the aircraft model. |
Level # |
The level number of the position code and its associated part number. |
Position Code |
The position code for which the aircraft effectivity details are to be specified. |
Part # |
The number identifying the part associated with the position code. |
Note: The system retrieves the aircraft that are already associated with the position code and the part combination.
Enter the following in the “Aircraft Details” multiline:
Aircraft Reg # |
The registration number of the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 30). Mandatory. |

Note: In the event of modifying the already associated aircraft registration, the system displays an error message. Also, to delete an existing aircraft, check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline and click the "Delete" icon in the toolbar
The system displays the following:
Manufacturer # |
The manufacturer of the aircraft. |
Aircraft Model # |
The model to which the aircraft belongs. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The MSN or the manufacturer’s serial number given to the aircraft by the manufacturer at the time of production. |
Variable Tab # |
The tab number of the aircraft. |
Nose # |
The nose number of the aircraft. |
Associated By |
The name of the user who associated the position-based schedule details with the aircraft. |
Associated Date |
The date on which the position-based schedule details were associated with the aircraft. |
Note: Ensure that at least one aircraft detail is entered in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Effectivity” pushbutton to update the aircraft effectivity details.
Entering aircraft effectivity details for position code – An overview
In this page, you can specify the aircraft for which the position-based schedule is applicable. The system displays the details of the aircraft that are already associated with the position and the part number. You can add the aircraft registration numbers or delete the existing details in this page. You can specify the aircraft registration number, and the system displays the manufacturer number, tab number and the nose number of the aircraft:
The system updates the aircraft effectivity details and stores the name of the currently logged in user and the server date.
