Selecting component for viewing the maintenance expenses summary

Select the “View Maintenance Expenses History” link under the “Component History” business component.

The “Select Component” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the component number for which the details must be viewed:

Component #

The number identifying the component for which you need to view the details (Alphanumeric, 90).

Select the “View Maintenance Expenses Summary” link provided alongside, to view the maintenance expenses summary of the component.

To search for a component

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a component. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

Component #	The number of the component for which you wish to view the maintenance expenses summary (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose numbers are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components defined in the system.
Part #	The part number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components whose part numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve the components irrespective of their part number.
Serial #	The serial number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components whose serial numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve the components irrespective of their serial number.
Part Description	The description of the part for which you wish to view the maintenance expenses summary (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose part description is similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components irrespective of the part description. Zoom facility available.
ATA #	The ATA chapter to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the components whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here.
Component Family #	The component family for which you need to view the details (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the component family number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components belonging to the component family specified here.
Part Classification	Use the drop-down list box to select the part classification of the component. The system lists “Engine”, “Landing Gear”, “APU” and “Others”, as options. The system retrieves all the components belonging to the part classification selected here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components irrespective of the part classification.

Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the components defined in the system.

Click the “Search” pushbutton, to search for the components.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Component #	The component retrieved by the system.
Component Description	The textual description of the component.
Part #	The part number to which the component belongs.
Serial #	The serial number to which the component belongs.
ATA #	The ATA chapter to which the component belongs.
Component Family #	The component family to which the component belongs.
Part Description	The textual description of the part.
Part Classification	The part classification of the component, such as “Engine”, “Landing Gear”, “APU” and “Others”.

Check the box in the "Select" column of the multiline, to mark the component for viewing the maintenance expenses summary.
Select the “View Maintenance Expenses Summary” link, to view the maintenance expenses summary of the component.
