This page allows you to search and select a component for viewing the maintenance list. Tell me more.

The “Select Component” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Component #

The number identifying the component for which you need to view the details (Alphanumeric, 90).

To search for a component

Component #

The number of the component for which you wish to view the maintenance history (Alphanumeric, 90). You can enter the component number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose numbers are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components defined in the system.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the part number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components whose part numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve the components irrespective of their part number.

Serial #

The serial number to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the serial number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components whose serial numbers are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve the components irrespective of their serial number.

Part Description

The description of the part for which you wish to view the maintenance history (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the part description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all components whose part descriptions are similar to the value entered here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components irrespective of the part description.

Zoom facility available.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the component belongs (Alphanumeric, 16). You can enter the ATA chapter number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the components whose ATA chapter numbers are similar to the value entered here.

Component Family #

The component family for which you need to view the details (Alphanumeric, 25). You can enter the component family number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the components belonging to the component family specified here.

Part Classification

Use the drop-down list box to select the part classification of the component. The system lists “Engine”, “Landing Gear”, “APU” and “Others”, as options. The system retrieves all the components belonging to the part classification selected here. Leave this field blank, to retrieve all the components irrespective of the part classification.

Note: Leave all the fields blank, to retrieve all the components defined in the system.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Component #

The component retrieved by the system.

Part Classification

The part classification of the component, such as “Engine”, “Landing Gear”, “APU” and “Others”.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Serial #

The serial number to which the component belongs.

ATA #

The ATA chapter to which the component belongs.

Component Family #

The component family of the component.

Part Description

View Maintenance History  - An Overview

This page allows you to search and select a component for viewing the maintenance list. If you know the component number, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the component ID, part number, serial number, part description, ATA number, component family number and part classification of the component.

Details of the component such as component number, component description, part number, serial number, ATA number, component family number, part description and part classification are displayed from the “Configuration” business component.
