This page allows you to view the engineering documents generated for the selected component.  Tell me more.

The "Eng. Doc History” page appears.

The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date and time fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date and time format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

The system displays the following fields in the “Component Details” group box:

Component #

The component selected in the previous page.

Part #

The part number to which the component belongs.

Serial #

The serial number to which the component belongs.

Part Description

The textual description of the part.

Zoom facility available.

From Date

The starting date from which you need to view the Eng. Doc history of the component (Date Format). Ensure this date is equal to or less than the “To Date”.

Note: Leave this field blank, to retrieve the Eng. Doc history of the component till the “To Date”.

To Date

The ending date till which you need to view the Eng. Doc history of the component (Date Format). Ensure this date is equal to or greater than the “To Date” and not greater than the current server date.

Note: Leave this field blank, to retrieve the Eng. Doc history of the component from the “From Date” till the current server date.

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:

Eng. Doc #

The number that identifies the engineering document raised on the component.

Comp. Work Order #

The number that identifies the component work order generated for the Eng. Doc.

Ref. Document #

The number identifying the reference document that must be referred during Eng. Doc execution.

Work Center #

The work center in which the engineering document will be executed.

Revision #

The revision number of the engineering document.

Subject

The description of the engineering document.

Eng. Doc Category

The user-defined category to which the engineering document belongs.

Applicability

The applicability of the engineering document, which could be “Aircraft”, “Component” or “Engine”.

MCR #

The number identifying the maintenance change request (MCR), based on which the engineering document is generated.

In this page, you can view the engineering documents generated for the selected component. You can specify the date period for which you want to retrieve the Eng. Doc history of the component. The system displays the Eng. Doc number, the CWO raised for the Eng. Doc, reference document number, work center number, revision number, subject, category, applicability and the MCR number for the Eng. Doc.
