Edit Attributes – A summary of the activity

This activity allows you to edit the details of the attributes that are already defined. In the search criteria, you can search for the attribute by specifying the attribute code, status, attribute description and attribute type. The system will retrieve the details of the attributes in the multiline.
You can modify the details such as the attribute description, attribute type, status and the Unit Of Measurement (UOM). You can modify the attribute type, UOM and inactivate the attribute status only for those attributes which are not associated with any part or part group.

What you can do in this activity
Search for an attribute and modify the details

Search for an attribute and modify the details
Go to “Edit Attributes” page.
Enter the details of the attribute in the “Search Criteria” group box.
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
Modify the attribute details displayed in the “Search Results” multiline.
Activate or Inactivate an attribute
You can activate or inactivate an attribute.
Go to “Edit Attributes” page.
Set the status as “Active”.
Set the status as “Inactive” only when the attribute code is not associated with any part or part group in the “Create Part Groups” activity of the “Part Administration” business component.
