The system displays the following field:

Date Format

The format in which the date field is displayed. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default.

Work Center #

Use the drop-down list box to select the work center for which you want to review the work load. The drop-down list displays all the Active work centers with Execution Capability as "All", "Hangar Jobs" and "Line Jobs" from the Work Center business component.

The system lists all the work centers in “Active” status mapped to the login user.

Shift Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the shift associated with the work center for which you wish to review the work load. The system lists those shift codes in “Active” status defined for the work center in the Work Center component.

If you have selected “All Work centers in the Work Center # field, the drop-down list does not display any shifts.

Planning Horizon

Use the drop-down list box to select the planning duration for work center loading. The drop-down list box displays the following: Long Term and Short Term.

By default, this option is set to Short Term.

If you select,

  • “Short Term”, the chart depicts the resource/skill availability and load on an hourly basis for the number of days comprising short term from the current start date. The Short Term is defined in the Set Options activity.

  • “Long Term”, the chart depicts the resource/skill availability and load on a daily basis for the number of days comprising long term from the current start date. The Long Term is defined in the Set Options activity.

Slot #

Use the drop-down list box to select the slot associated with the work center for which you wish to review the work load. The drop-down list displays all those slots in “Active” status defined for the work center in the Work Center component.

If you have selected “All Work centers in the Work Center # field, the drop-down list does not display any slots.

The chart depicts the resource availability and load for each of the slots applicable on all the days comprising the planning horizon from the current server date.

Resource Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the resource for which you wish to review the work center load. The drop-down list displays the following: Skill, Equipment, Tools and Others.

By default, the Resource Type is set to “Skill”.

Resource #

The resource for which you wish to review the scheduled work center loading. You may specify more than one skill using “-“ separator.

You must specify the Resource #, if the Resource Type is “Equipment”, “Tools” or “Others”.

The chart shows graphs for the resource you specify. However, if you have specified multiple skills, the chart displays graphs for each of the skills. If you have not specified any skill #, graphs for each of the skill available in the work center are shown by the chart.

Help facility available

The Resource Loading Details chart is displayed with the following information.

The system evaluates the required hours of a resource by a task against the available Man hours of resource in the work center. The work center load is classified in the following way,

The various bars in the graph represent the availability of a resource against the load as given below,

To compute the work center load based on the latest information,

The system runs the Scheduler to computes load of tasks versus the availability of resources and time in the selected work center based on the latest data from other components.
