Viewing work unit capability for components
This page allows you to view the work units associated to components. Tell me more.
Select the “View Work Unit Capability” link at the bottom of the “View Component Capability Information” page.
The “View Work Unit Capability Information” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Work Center Details” group box:
Work Center # |
The work center to which the component is associated. |
Exe. Org Unit # |
The organizational unit to which the selected work center is associated. |
Work Center Description |
The textual description of the work center. |
Work Center Type |
The type of the work center, which could be “Hangar”, “Bay”, "Shop", "Line" or “Others”. |
Part # / Group |
The part number or the part group for which the work unit is applicable. |
Component Effectivity Basis |
Indicates whether the work unit is applicable to part number or part group. |

The textual description of the part or part group |
Enter the following field:
Maintenance Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the maintenance type for which the work unit details must be retrieved. The system lists the options "Overhaul", "Inspection", "Repairs", "Others", "Engineering Document" and "Fleet Campaign Directive ". |
On clicking the “Get Details” pushbutton, the system displays the following fields in the multiline for work units that are associated to the selected component:
Work Unit # |
The number identifying the work unit |
Work Unit Type |
The type of the work unit, which can be “Task”, “Procedure” or “Work Package”. |
Work Unit Desc |
The textual description of the work unit. |
Authoring Org Units |
The organizational unit in which the work unit was defined. |
Viewing work unit capability for components – An overview
In this page, you can view the details of the work units for which the work center is capable to perform on different part or part group. You can select the part or part group number and view the work units associated to it. Details such as work unit #, type, description, and the organizational unit in which the work unit was defined, are displayed.
