Maintaining Alternate Work Centers

This popup enables you to set up / update alternates to a work center. The tasks allocated to specific work center can be routed to its alternate work centers. Hence, the total capacity of a work center includes the collective capacity of all its alternates as well.

Select the “Maintain Alternate Work Centers” link in the “Select Work Center #” page of “Associate Work Center Attributes” activity.

The “Maintain Alternate Work Centers” popup appears and displays the following for the work center selected in the previous page.

Work Center #	The work center for which you intend to define / update alternates.
Work Center Desc.	The description of the work center for which you intend to define / update alternates.

Enter the following fields:

Work Center	The alternate for the work center. Mandatory.
Break Description	The description of the alternate for the work center.Mandatory.

Select the required row from the multiline and then click the “Save” pushbutton to save input data.
