Maintaining standard capacity of work centers

This page enables you to set/update the maintenance capacity of a slot in the work center. You can specify the parts and the aircraft models for the maintenance of which the slot in the work center holds the required facility/skill/. Importantly, you can specify the quantity of the part/aircraft model on which the work center slot is capable of task execution .

Select the “Maintain Standard Work Center Capacity” link in the “Select Work Center #” page of “Associate Work Center Attributes” activity.

The “Maintain Standard Work Center Capacity” page appears and displays the following for the work center selected in the previous page.

Work Center #	The work center for which you intend to define / update maintenance capacity.
Work Center Desc.	The description of the work center for which you intend to define / update maintenance capacity.

Enter the following in the multiline:

Maintenance Object Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the maintenance object that can be maintained / overhauled in the work center slot. The drop-down list box displays Aircraft Model and Part# / Mfr. Part #.

A/C Model #

The aircraft model that can be maintained / overhauled in the work center slot.

Note: This field is mandatory, if you have selected Aircraft Model in the Maintenance Object Type drop-down list box. Do not specify this field, if you have selected Part #/Mfr. Part # in the Maintenance Object Type drop-down list box.

Part #

The part that that can be maintained / overhauled in the work center slot.

Note: This field is mandatory, if you have selected Part #/Mfr. Part # in the Maintenance Object Type drop-down list box. Do not specify this field, if you have selected Aircraft Model in the Maintenance Object Type drop-down list box.

The multiline displays the following:

Model / Part Description

The description of the aircraft model / part that can be maintained / overhauled in the work center slot.

Enter the following in the multiline:

Quantity

The quantity of the part / aircraft model that can be maintained / overhauled in the work center slot. Mandatory.

Select the required row from the multiline and then click the ““Record Capacity Details” pushbutton to save input data.
