The “Variance Report” page appears.

Ref. Doc Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the reference document based on which report is to be generated. The system lists the following options:

  • AME

  • SWO

If the reference document is an aircraft package, the Maint. Obj column in the Variance report will display Aircraft Reg. #. However, if the reference document is a shop work order, the Maint. Obj column will display Part # and Part Description.

Part #

The number identifying the part for which variance report is to be generated.

Execution Doc # From

The starting number in the range of Execution Document numbers for which the variance report is required.

Execution Doc # To

The ending number in the range of Execution Document numbers for which the variance report is required.

Execution Doc Status

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the task. The system lists the following options:

  • Closed

  • Completed

  •  In-Progress

  • Pre-Closed

Aircraft Reg. # From

The starting number in the range of Aircraft Registration numbers for which you wish to generate variance report.

Aircraft Reg. # To

The ending number in the range of Aircraft Registration numbers for which you wish to generate variance report.

Estimation Hours From

Use the drop-down to specify the source of the estimated man hours. You can select from the following options:

  •  Execution Doc Skill Requirement

  •  Task Estimates

  •  Task Skill Requirements

From Date

The starting date in the range of dates during which you wish to generate Variance Report.

To Date

The ending date in the range of dates during which you wish to generate the Variance Report.

Estimated Material Cost From

Use the drop-down to specify the source of the estimated material cost. You can select from the following options:

  • Execution Doc Skill Requirement

  •  Task Skill Requirements

Task #

The unique code identifying the task 

Task Desc.

A brief description of the task for which you wish to generate variance report.

Task Status

The status of the task for which you wish to generate variance report.

Include Part Consumption Breakdown

Select the check box to display the following additional information in the Variance report:

  • The 'Part #' column will display the part requested for the task

  • The 'Est. Mat Cost' column will display the estimated cost of the requested part (Part Estimation Qty * Standard Cost)

  • The 'Actual Mat Cost' column will display the actual material cost of the requested part {(Qty. of Part Issued ­- Qty of Parts Returned) * Standard Cost}

  • The 'Mat Variance' column will display the difference of 'Est. Mat Cost' and 'Actual Mat Cost' columns

Note: The above-mentioned columns will not be displayed if you do not select the "Include Part Consumption Breakdown" check box.
