Entering aircraft effectivity details for the task

This page allow you to identify the individual aircraft, belonging to the specified model, for which the task is applicable. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “Edit Model Effectivity” page.

The “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” page appears.

The system displays the following fields in the “Task Details” group box:

Task Applicability	Indicates whether the task is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”.
Task #	The task for which the aircraft effectivity details have to be defined.
Revision #	The revision number of the task for which the aircraft effectivity details have to be defined.
Task Description	The textual description of the task.

Enter the following:

Aircraft Model

Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model. This field contains the list of aircraft models that have already been identified for the task in the “Edit Model Effectivity” page.

If you have already defined aircraft effectivity details for the task, click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the tab number details in the multiline.
Enter the following in the “Aircraft Effectivity” multiline:

The starting tab number in the range of tab numbers for which the selected task is applicable (Alphanumeric 30). Mandatory. The tab number should have already been defined in the “Create Aircraft Record” activity of the “Aircraft“ business component.

The ending tab number in the range of tab numbers for which the selected task is applicable (Alphanumeric 30). Mandatory. The tab number should have already been defined in the “Create Aircraft Record” activity of the “Aircraft“ business component.

Note: The From Tab # and the To Tab # are mandatory, if you want to record comments in the “Aircraft Effectivity” multiline.

Comments

Any additional information on the applicability of the task to the aircraft (Alphanumeric, 200).

Check the box in the multiline to mark the aircraft for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the aircraft selected in the multiline.
Click the “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” pushbutton to add or modify the aircraft effectivity details for the task.

Note: In the case of modifying the aircraft effectivity details of a “Returned” task, the system changes the status of the task to “Fresh” status. The status log is also updated.

The system displays the following on click of the “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” pushbutton.

Created by	The login user name of the employee who created the aircraft effectivity record.
Created Date/Time	The date and time when the aircraft effectivity record was created.
Last Modified by	The login user ID of the employee who most recently modified the aircraft effectivity record.
Last Modified Date/Time	The date and time when the aircraft effectivity record was most recently modified.

Entering aircraft effectivity details for the task – An overview

In this page, you can identify the individual aircraft, belonging to the specified model, for which the task is applicable. If you do not specify the task applicability for the aircraft, the system assumes that the task is applicable for all the aircraft belonging to the specified model.

The system displays all the models that have been identified for the selected task, from which you can select a model. You can enter a range of aircraft numbers, belonging to the specified model, for which the selected task is applicable. The system updates the aircraft effectivity details and sets the last modified date to the server date.
