Entering aircraft effectivity details for the standard procedure
This page allow you to identify the individual aircraft, belonging to the specified model, for which the standard procedure is applicable. Tell me more
Select the “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” link at the bottom of the “Edit Model Effectivity” page.
The “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Standard Procedure Details” group box:

Enter the following:
Aircraft Model # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model. This field contains the list of aircraft models that have already been identified for the task in the “Edit Model Effectivity” page. |
If you have already defined aircraft effectivity details for the task, click the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the tab number details in the multiline.
The system displays the following field:

Indicates whether the standard procedure is applicable for “Aircraft”, “Engine” or “Component”. |
Enter the following in the “Aircraft Effectivity” multiline:
From Tab # |
The starting tab number in the range of tab numbers for which the selected standard procedure is applicable (Alphanumeric 30). The tab number should have already been defined in the “Create Aircraft Information” activity of the “Aircraft“ business component. Help facility available |
To Tab # |
The ending tab number in the range of tab numbers for which the selected standard procedure is applicable (Alphanumeric 30). The tab number should have already been defined in the “Create Aircraft Information” activity of the “Aircraft“ business component. The tab number entered here must be greater than the tab number entered in the “From Tab #” field. Help facility available |
Note: The tab numbers specified in the “From Tab #” and “To Tab #” field must end with a numeric value.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the aircraft for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the aircraft selected in the multiline..
Click the “Edit Aircraft Effectivity” pushbutton to add or modify the aircraft effectivity details for the standard procedure.
Entering aircraft effectivity details for the standard procedure – An overview
In this page, you can identify the individual aircraft, belonging to the specified model, for which the standard procedure is applicable.
The system displays all the models that have been identified for the selected standard procedure, from which you can select a model. You can enter a range of aircraft numbers, belonging to the specified model, for which the selected standard procedure is applicable. The system updates the aircraft effectivity details and sets the last modified date to the server date.
