Selecting DSC for modification

This page allow you to select a DSC number to be modified. If you know the DSC number to be modified, you can directly enter it. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the DSC number, status, or the description. The details of the selected DSC, such as its number, description and the status are displayed.

Select the “Edit Dependent System Condition List” link under the “Maintenance Task” business component.

The “Select Dependent System Condition” page appears.

Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box, if you know the DSC number for which the modification has to be done:

DSC #

The DSC number for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 15).

Select the “Edit DSC Details” link displayed alongside to modify the DSC information.

Search for DSC

Enter the following filter criteria in the “Search Criteria” group box, to search for a DSC. Data entry in the following fields is optional:

DSC #	The number of the DSC for which the details are to be modified (Alphanumeric, 15). You can enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the DSC numbers that are similar to the values entered here.
Status	The status of the DSC to be modified, which could be “Active” or “Inactive”. The system lists all those DSC numbers that are in the status specified here. Leave this field blank if you wish to retrieve details of DSC irrespective of their status. The system leaves the field blank by default.
DSC Description	You can enter the description of the DSC to be modified in full or specify it partially using the “*” character (Alphanumeric, 150). The system lists all the DSC numbers whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here.

Note: If all the fields are left blank, the system will list all the DSC numbers that are defined.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to display the search results.

The system fills in the following fields in the ”Search Results” multiline, based on the filter criteria entered:

DSC #	The number identifying the DSC.
DSC Description	The textual description of the DSC.
Status	The status of the DSC, which could be ”Active” or “Inactive”.

Click the hyperlinked DSC number in the multiline, to modify the DSC details.
