This page allow you to create work area. Tell me more.
Select the “Create Work Area” link under the “Maintenance Task” business component.
The “Create Work Area Information” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Model Details” group box:

Aircraft Model #
|
Use the drop-down list box to select the aircraft model to which you wish to associate the work area. The system lists all the “Active” aircraft models defined in the “Create Aircraft Model” activity of the “Aircraft” business component. |
Enter the following fields in the “Work Area Details” multiline:

Work Area # |
A unique number identifying the work area (Alphanumeric, 15). Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and digits. This number should be unique for the organizational unit. |

Work Area Description |
The textual description of the work area (Alphanumeric, 150). Mandatory. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the work area for deletion.
Click the Delete icon in the tool bar above the multiline, to delete the work areas selected in the multiline.
Click the “Create Work Area” pushbutton to create the work area.
Note: The system creates work areas and sets the status of the created work area as "Active".
