Maintaining standard cost of tasks

Select the “Maintain Task Standard Cost” link under the “Maintenance Task” business component.

The “Maintain Task Standard Cost” page appears.

Task # / Desc

The task for which you want to record / update standard cost of execution.

Help facility available

You may or may not specify the following filter criteria in the “Additional Search” group box, to search for tasks for which you want to record / update cost details.

Search By	Use the drop-down list box to select the attribute based on which you want to find tasks. The drop-down list box displays the following: Task Type, Task Applicability, WBS Code, ATA # and Work Center. Select the option / value for the attribute in the next drop-down list box. The search retrieves those tasks with the attribute as specified here.
Valid From	The start date of the period in which the standard cost for the task is effective.
Valid To	The end date of the period in which the standard cost for the task is effective.
Show Active Records	Select the check box to display only those retrieved tasks that exist in the Active status.

Select the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve tasks matching search criteria in the “Task Details” multiline.
Alternately, you can directly enter cost details for tasks in the “Task Details” multiline.

Task #

The unique identifier for the task.

Click the “Get Task Details” pushbutton to retrieve details of the task; you have entered in the “Task #” field of the “Task Details” multiline.

The “Task Details” multiline displays the following.

Task Description	The description of the task.
Est. Man Hrs.	The estimated man hours required for executing the task.
WBS Code	The WBS code for the task.

Material Cost	The price of materials required for the execution of the task.
Resources Cost	The price of resources (skills) required for the execution of the task.
Other Cost	The price of all other miscellaneous inputs required for the execution of the task.
Total Cost	The sum total of Material Cost, Resources Cost and Other Cost required for completing the task.
Effective From	The start date of the period for the cost remains valid for the task.
Effective To	The end date of the period for which the cost remains valid for the task.
Remarks	Additional information on costs incurred on the task.

The “Task Details” multiline displays the following.

Task Category	The user-defined category of the task.
Status	The status of the task, such as Active or Inactive
Task Type	The user-defined type of the task.
Task Applicability	The applicability of the task to specific maintenance object, such as Aircraft, Component or Engine.
Base Aircraft Model	The aircraft model to which the task is effective or can be executed upon.
Operations Type	The type of operations as part of which the task is executed.
Work Center #	The work center in which the task is completed.
Exec. Phase	The user-defined phase in which the task is executed.
Created By	The login user who created the task cost record.
Created Date	The date on which the login user created the task cost record.
Modified By	The login user who most recently modified the task cost record.
Modified Date	The date on which the login user most recently
