Maintaining quick codes
Select the “Maintain Quick Codes” activity under the “Structural Damage Report” business component.
The “Maintain Quick Codes” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed and to be entered, in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the "Enterprise Modeling" business component by default. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Quick Code Type |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the quick code type under which you want to create / modify / delete a quick code. The system displays the following values: Damage Item, Damage Type. Damage Location, Damage Cause, Resolution, Reference, Chart Group, Report Category. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the status of the quick code type. The system displays “Active’ and “Inactive”. By default the system displays “Active” in this field. |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton to retrieve the search details in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Quick Code Details” group box:
Quick Code |
A unique identifier for the quick code. Mandatory. This can be a combination of characters and digits. Ensure that the quick code is unique for the quick code type. |
Description |
The textual description for the quick code. Mandatory. |
Status |
The current status of the quick code. You can select from the options “Active” or “Inactive”. By default the system displays “Active” in this field. |
Seq. # |
The sequence number indicating the order in which they are displayed in the Manage Damage Report. |
The system displays the following field in the “Quick Code Details” group box:
Created By |
The name of the user who created the quick code. |
Created Date |
The date on which the quick code was created. |
Last Modified By |
The name of the user who last modified the quick code information. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the quick code was last modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the quick code.
Click the Delete icon in the toolbar above the multiline, to delete the marked quick codes.
Select the “Maintain Quick Codes” pushbutton to record the quick codes.
