This page allows you to search for and select an unplanned receipt for viewing. Tell me more.

The “Select Receipt” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Date Format

The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default.

Receipt #

The number identifying the unplanned receipt document  to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 18).

Receipt #

The number identifying the unplanned receipt to be viewed (Alphanumeric, 18). You can enter the number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the receipt numbers similar to the value entered here. Leave the field blank to retrieve all the receipts available in the system.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to set the status of the unplanned receipt.

  • Draft – Select this status, if some more information is pending to be entered for the receipt. A receipt cannot be sent for confirmation in the “Draft” status.

  • Fresh – Select this status, if all the information pertaining to the receipt has been entered. The receipt can be sent for confirmation.

  • Confirmed – Select this status, if the receipt has been confirmed. A confirmed receipt cannot be modified or canceled.

  • Canceled - Select this status, if the receipt has been canceled.

From Date

The starting date in the range of receipt dates from which the receipt details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the receipts that have been raised later than this date. The receipt date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that the date entered is earlier than or the same as the system date. The date entered in this field must be earlier than or the same as the date entered in the “To Date” field.

To Date

The ending date in the range of receipt dates until which the receipt details must be retrieved (Date Format). The system lists all the receipts that are raised earlier than this date. The receipt date must be in the same format as displayed in the “Date Format” field. Ensure that the date entered is later than or the same as the system date.

Note: If you leave this field blank, the system retrieves all the receipts, which were raised in the period starting from the date specified in the “From Date” field and the system date.

Warehouse #

Use the drop-down list box to select the warehouse for the Unplanned Receipt transaction. The system lists the warehouse numbers that have already been defined in the “Create Warehouse Information” activity of the “Storage Administration” business component.

Receipt Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the receipt category. The system lists all the quick codes of the “Receipt Category” type defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity that are in the “Active” status.

Part #

The number identifying the part available in the receipt you wish to view (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the number in full, or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the receipts, which are similar to the value entered here irrespective of their part numbers.

User Status

Use the drop-down list box to set the user status for the unplanned receipt. The system lists all the quick codes of the “User Status” type defined in the “Create Quick Codes” activity.

Trading Partner #

The unique code identifying the supplier or customer (Alphanumeric, 45). You can enter the trading partner code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the reference document numbers with the trading partner code entered here.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Receipt #

The number identifying the unplanned receipt

Receipt Date

The date on which the unplanned receipt was recorded.

Warehouse #

The warehouse in which the received part is stored.

Receipt Category

The category of the unplanned receipt.

Status

The status of the unplanned receipt.

User Status

The user status of the unplanned receipt defined as a quick code.

Trading Partner Type

The trading partner for the stock transfer, which could be “Supplier” or “Customer”.

  • Supplier – Indicates that the part has been received from the supplier.

  • Customer – Indicates that the part has been received from the customer.

Trading Partner #

The unique code identifying the supplier or customer.

Trading Partner Name

The name of the supplier or customer.

Note: The system displays “Supplier” in the “Trading Partner Type” field, the supplier # in the “Trading Partner #” field and the supplier name in the “ Trading Partner Name” field, for the receipt record having “Part Ownership” set as “Supplier”.

Selecting unplanned receipts for viewing – An overview

Overview

This page allows you to search for and select an unplanned receipt for viewing. If you know the receipt number, you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a search based on the receipt number, the status, the date range during which the receipt was raised, the type and the category of the receipt. You can also search based on the warehouse number, the user status and the part number. The system retrieves the receipts based on the search criteria entered.
