Viewing serial and lot number details for unplanned receipts
This page allows you to view the serial number and lot number details of the part, if the part is serial number-controlled or lot number-controlled. Tell me more.
Select the “View Serial & Lot Details” link at the bottom of the “View Unplanned Receipts” page.
The “View Serial & Lot Details” page appears.
The system displays the following:
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields are displayed in this page. This format is displayed from the “User Preferences” business component based on the login user ID. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
The system displays the following in the “Receipt Identification Details” group box:
Receipt # |
The number identifying the receipt. |
Status |
The status of the receipt, which could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Confirm” or “Canceled”. |
Warehouse # |
The number identifying the warehouse in which the part is to be stored. |
Description |
The textual description of the warehouse |
Enter the following field in the “Line # Details” group box:
Line # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the line number of the unplanned receipt which contains the part for which you wish to view the serial or lot number details. |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton, to retrieve the part details.
The system displays the following in the “Line # Details” group box based on the line number selected:
Part # |
The number identifying the part that has been received. |
Part Control Type |
The type of part control, which could be “Serial Number”, “Lot Number”, “Both” or “None”. |
Part Description |
The textual description of the part |
WH-Zone # |
The number identifying the zone in which the part is to be stored in the warehouse |
Bin # |
The number identifying the bin in which the part is to be stored in the zone |
Quantity |
The quantity of the part received |
UOM |
The unit of measurement of the part received |
The system displays the following in the “Serial / Lot Information” multiline:
Line # |
The sequential line number generated by the system. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The number identifying the serial number issued by the manufacturer of the part |
Lot # |
The number identifying the lot number issued by the warehouse |
Manufacturer Lot # |
The number identifying the lot number issued by the manufacturer of the part. |
Condition |
The condition of the part, which could be ”New”, “Overhauled”, “Serviceable” or “unserviceable”. |
Quantity |
The quantity of the part received for the serial number or lot number. |
Expiry Date |
The date of expiry of the part being received |
Certificate Type |
The type of the certificate received along with the part. |
Certificate # |
The number identifying the certificate. |
Certificate Date |
The date on which the certificate was issued. |
Authorization # |
The number identifying the authorization. The authorization number will be available only if an individual has inspected the part. |
System Tracking Ref # |
The number, which can be used to track the certification details of the part. |
File Name |
The name of the file used for document reference that is associated with the unplanned receipt |

Select the “View Parameter Information” link at the bottom of the “View Serial & Lot Details” page to view the parameter information of the unplanned receipt.
Select the “View Attribute Details” link at the bottom of the “View Serial & Lot Details” page to view the attribute details of the unplanned receipt.

This page allows you to view the serial number and lot number details of the part, if the part is serial number-controlled or lot number-controlled. You can view the receipt identification details, the details pertaining to the line number and the serial / lot number details of the selected part.
