Mapping aircraft to reliability fleet
Select the “Associate Aircraft to Fleet” link at the bottom of the “Setup Reliability Fleet” page.
The “Associate Aircraft to Fleet” page appears.
Date Format |
The format in which the date fields appears in this page. This format is displayed from the "User Preferences" business component based on the login user id. In case the format is not defined, the system displays the date format from the “Enterprise Modeling” business component by default. |
Enter the following in the “Fleet Details” group box.
Reliability Fleet # |
Use the drop-down list box to select the reliability fleet to which you want to map the aircraft. The list displays all the existing reliability fleets irrespective of their status. This implies both Active and Inactive reliability fleets are available for selection. |
Select the “Get Details” pushbutton.
The system displays the following information for the specified reliability fleet.
Fleet Description |
The name/short description of the fleet to which you want to map the aircraft. |
Reliability Rep. Group |
The reliability report group to which the reliability fleet belongs. This field displays blank, if no reliability report group has been specified for the fleet previously. |
Planner Code |
The employee code of the planner for the reliability fleet. |
Enter the following in the “Aircraft List” multiline.
Aircraft Reg # |
The identification number of the aircraft you want to map to the reliability fleet (Alphanumeric, 20). The aircraft you specify here must be defined in the Aircraft component. Help facility available |
The system displays the following.
Model # |
The model of the aircraft. |
Manufacturer Serial # |
The serial number of the aircraft assigned by the aircraft manufacturer. |
Aircraft Ownership |
The owning agency for the aircraft, such as Customer, Owned, Leased and, Leased Out. |
Owning Agency # |
The identification number of the owner of the aircraft. |
Owning Agency Name |
The name of the owning agency for the aircraft. |
Engagement Type |
The type of service provided to the aircraft which could be one of the following:

Enter the following.
Effective From |
The start-date of the period during which the aircraft is attached to the fleet (Date Format). |
Note: The “Effective From” date you specify must be later than the “Analysis From” date entered in the Setup Reliability Flee” page.
Effective To |
The end-date of the period during which the aircraft is attached to the fleet (Date Format). |
Remarks |
Any comments or supplementary information on aircraft mapping (Alphanumeric, 255). |
The system displays the following.
Last Modified By |
The employee code of the person who most recently modified the information. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the information was modified. |
Select the “Associate Aircraft” pushbutton.
To disassociate aircraft from reliability fleet
Select the aircraft you want to delete from the reliability fleet in the multiline.
Click the Delete icon in the Tool bar above the multiline.
Note: The system does not allow you to remove the aircraft, if any reliability reports were published for the reliability fleet during the month when the aircraft was attached to the fleet.
In the “Associate Aircraft to Fleet” page, you can map aircraft to a reliability fleet. You must also specify the period during which the aircraft remains attached to the fleet.
Typically, you map aircraft of the same model to a fleet. For example, a fleet “A320” may exclusively comprise of A320 aircraft. This helps in the analysis of the following aspects of an A320 aircraft / fleet,

Despatch
Interruptions
Discrepancies
Components and parts
You can also disassociate an aircraft from a reliability fleet, if no reports were published for the reliability fleet during the period when the aircraft was mapped to the reliability fleet.
