Maintaining Warehouses for Customer Requests
The screen “Maintain Warehouses for Customer Requests” enables the user to evaluate a Pool and identify the Requesting Warehouse for a Customer Request.
Select the “Maintain Warehouses for Customer Requests” link in the “Maintain Pool Information” screen of the “Pool Management” business component.
The “Maintain Warehouses for Customer Requests” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” section:
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer with whom the warehouse is mapped. |
Customer Name |
The name identifying the customer. |
Contract # |
The number identifying the contract which is mapped to the warehouse. |
Pool ID |
The Pool ID mapped for the customer requests. |
Pool Description |
The description of the Pool ID. |
Click the “Advanced Search” link alongside to search based on the parameters entered.
The “Advanced Search” popup appears.
Click the “Go” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Mapping Details” multiline:

Use the drop-down list box to specify the option for which the warehouse mapping is defined. Mandatory. The system lists the following values along with a blank value.
The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer with whom the warehouse is mapped. Help facility available. |
The system displays the following field:
Customer Name |
The name identifying the customer with whom the warehouse is mapped. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Contract # |
The number identifying the contract with which the warehouse is mapped. Help facility available. |
Pool ID |
The Pool ID mapped for the customer requests. |
The system displays the following field:
Pool Description |
The description of the Pool ID. |
Enter the following fields in the multiline:
Station # |
The number identifying the Station of the Delivery Point. Help facility available. |
Delivery Point |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the Delivery Point. The system lists all the active quick codes of type ‘Delivery Point’ defined in the “Manage Logistics Quick Codes” activity of the “Logistics Common Master” business component along with a blank value. The system leaves the field blank, by default. |
Request Warehouse |
The number identifying the warehouse from which the parts can be requested. Mandatory. Help facility available. |
Return Warehouse |
The number identifying the warehouse to which the parts can be returned. Help facility available. |
Remarks |
Any additional remarks regarding the warehouse mapping for customer requests. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the warehouse mapping for customer requests.
