Modifying additional information
This activity enables you to maintain and modify general information relating to the flight contract.
Select the “Edit Additional Info.” link at the bottom of the “Flight Contract” business component.
The “Edit Additional Info.” page appears.
The system displays the following fields in the “Contract Main Details” group box:
Contract # / Rev. # |
The number identifying the flight contract / |
Contract Type |
The type of the flight contract which could be General or Customer Specific. |
Status |
Status of the contract, which could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, “Approved”, “Returned”, “Revised”, “Cancelled” or “Closed”. |
Charter Type |
Indicates the type of hire or lease. |
Effective From |
The starting date from which the revised flight contract is effective. |
Effective To |
The ending date un till which the revised flight contract is effective. |
Enter the following fields in the “Additional Info:” multiline:
Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the flight contract belongs. Mandatory. The system lists all the 'active' categories as defined for the Category ““A/C Charter Service” in the “Create Category Type” activity of the “Category” business component. The system retrieves al the contract category similar to the description entered here. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Additional Info.” multiline:

The description for the category to which the flight contract belongs. |
Enter the following fields in the “Additional Info:” multiline:
Attribute |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category to which the flight contract belongs. Mandatory. The system lists all the 'active' categories as defined for the Category “A/C Charter Additional Attribute” in the “Create Category Type” activity of the “Category” business component. By default the system leaves this field blank. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Additional Info.” multiline:
Attribute Description |
A brief textual description about the attribute. |
Note: Ensure that Category – Attribute is a unique combination.
Enter the following fields in the “Additional Info:” multiline:
Value |
The value as defined for the additional attribute of the flight contract. Mandatory. Ensure that the value entered in this field is a positive integer greater than “0”. |
Notes |
Any remarks pertaining to the additional information of the flight contract. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Additional Info.” multiline:
Upload Documents |
Select the hyperlink to upload documents / files attached to a reference document. The files/documents are uploaded into a pre-defined folder in the FTP server. |
View Associated Doc. Attachments |
Select the hyperlink to search for and retrieve the files belonging to a business component, with respect to the reference documents. |
Note: Ensure that at least one record is available in the multiline.
Click the “Save Additional Info.” pushbutton to save the additional information and the modifications made to the flight contract.
The system performs the following:
Auto generates a new incremental Contract #.
Generates Revision # as “0”.
In case of an approved contract, generates an incremental Revision # and saves all the modified details to that revision number.
Updates the status of the contract from “Draft” to “Fresh” only after all the mandatory details are provided.
Allows modification only for Revision # that is other than “Confirmed”, “Revised”, “Cancelled”, “Closed” or “Approved” status.
Updates the status as “Fresh” for modifications made to a Revision # that is in “Returned” status.
For unapproved contracts, updates the modifiied details in the “Additional Info.” multiline against the same Contract # / Revision # without generating any increamental Revision #.
Does not allow details of the contract to be modified by a different user.
Updates the Effective From Date as follows:
1. With the commencement date when Revision # is 0.
2. With the Revision Effective From Date when Reviswion # is 1.
The system displays the following fields in the “Record Statistics” group box:
Last Modified By |
The login user id of the person who modified the Flight Contract - Revision # last. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the Flight Contract - Revision # was modified last. |
