Help on Flight Contract
This page enables you to search and select a flight contract number. You can carry out the search using the contract #, contract based, which could be by customer name or number, aircraft based, Customer based, Addl. Search, Rev. Valid from / to.
The system retrieves all the contract numbers, based on the search criteria entered. On confirmation, the selected contract number is transferred to the required page.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Contract #” field in the “Manage Flight Contract” page of the “Flight Contract” business component.
The “Help on Flight Contract” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a contract. Data entry in the fields is optional:
Contract # |
The code identifying the contract you wish to retrieve. You can enter the contract number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the contract numbers that are similar to the number entered here. Leave this field blank to retrieve all the flight contract numbers in the multiline. |

Contract Based |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which you wish to retrieve. The system lists the following options:

In the box provided alongside, enter a value corresponding to the “Contract Based” selected. The system lists the options as follows based on the selection made in the Contract Based field:

Aircraft Basis |
Use the drop-down list box to specify the basis on which you wish to retrieve the details. The system lists the following options:

In the box provided alongside, enter“Aircraft Model #” or “Aircraft Reg. #” corresponding to the selection in the “Aircraft Basis” The system retrieves all the Flight Contract numbers that are similar to the value entered here. |

Customer Based |
The customer information based on which you wish to retrieve the flight contract details, which could be Customer # or Customer name. You can enter the name / number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all flight contracts with starting customer name / number similar to the name / number entered here. |

Addl. Search |
Use the first drop-down list box to select an additional attribute of the flight contract.

In the editable boxes alongside, enter the number or description corresponding to the additional search attribute selected. You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the "*" character. The system lists all the flight contracts with attributes whose descriptions are similar to the description entered here. |

Rev. Valid from / to |
The date on/ after which the revised flight contract is effective. . The system retrieves all the flight contracts having contract revision dates falling on or after the date specified here. |

The date on/ upto which the revised flight contract is effective. . The system retrieves all the flight contracts having contract revision dates falling on or within the date specified here. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:
Contract # |
The code identifying the contract. |
Revision # |
The revision number of the contract. |
Status |
Status of the flight contract, which could be “Draft”, “Fresh”, “Confirmed”, “Approved”, “Returned”, “Revised”, “Cancelled” or “Closed”. |
Aircraft Model # |
The aircraft model number associated with the flight contract you wish to retrieve. |
Aircraft Reg. # |
The aircraft registration number associated with the flight contract you wish to retrieve |
Customer # |
The number identifying the customer with whom the flight contract is entered |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer with whom the flight contract is entered. |
Rev. Effective from |
The starting date from which the revised contract is effective. |
Rev. Effective to |
The ending date up to which the revised contract is effective. |
Charter Type |
The type of hire or lease. |
Contract Category |
The category to which the contract belongs. |
Primary Field Base |
The location that is the center for the operations of the charter flight. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the flight contract number.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
